Forza Horizon 6 Guide: The Complete Radio Station List
You are going to spend dozens of hours driving across Japan, which means you need a killer soundtrack to keep you from losing your mind.
Playground Games finally dropped the tracklist for Forza Horizon 6, and it is easily the most diverse lineup they have ever compiled. With over 100 songs spread across nine distinct stations, you get everything from aggressive drum and bass to relaxing classical music. If you are ignoring the fast travel system and driving everywhere manually to hit your Discover Japan milestones, this soundtrack is absolutely vital. You can even check out my Forza Horizon 6 fast travel guide if you decide you actually hate driving and just want to teleport around the map instead.
How To Change The Radio Station
Before you take your eyes off the road to dig through the pause menus, let me save you a crash. Changing the station is incredibly simple.
If you are holding a controller, just press right on your D-pad. If you are steering with a keyboard, hit the equals sign (=) instead. You can also dive into your control settings to map a dedicated previous station button. I highly recommend doing this, because missing your favorite station and having to cycle through all nine options again is incredibly frustrating.
The Complete Station Lineup
I broke down every single radio station available in the game, categorized by their specific genre and hosts. If you prefer to stream your tunes outside the game, I also included the official Spotify links for almost every station.
Horizon Pulse
Horizon Pulse is an absolute staple, returning as one of only two stations to appear in every single game in the franchise. Amy Simpson is back behind the mic, voiced again by actress Susannah Fielding. This station focuses entirely on upbeat pop and electronic tracks from massive names like Tame Impala and Empire of the Sun. If you want to listen to this mix while working, you can stream the Horizon Pulse Spotify playlist right now.
Horizon Bass Arena
If you want pure, unfiltered dance music, this is your destination. Hosted by Scott Tyler (voiced by Ronan Summers), Bass Arena is the only other station to survive every single release since the original. You will hear massive drops from Calvin Harris, Dom Dolla, and Fisher. You can check out the Horizon Bass Arena Spotify playlist to keep the party going.
Horizon Block Party
This station debuted back in the third game and focuses entirely on hip-hop and rap. Carla Rose takes over as the host this time, voiced by The Voice contestant Koko Alexandra. The tracklist is stacked with heavy hitters like Lil Nas X, Anderson .Paak, and Little Simz. Grab the Horizon Block Party Spotify playlist if you need a driving soundtrack for your real commute.
Horizon XS
When you need to get aggressive on a dirt trail, switch over to Horizon XS. Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil hosts this rock and punk station. It features an incredible mix of loud, fast tracks from Turnstile, Babymetal, and Rise Against. You can find the Horizon XS Spotify playlist online for your heavy listening needs.
Hospital Records
If you need high-speed drum and bass, Hospital Records delivers. Chris Goss and Dynamite MC host this incredibly fast-paced station featuring artists like Fred V and Urbandawn. Because some of these tracks are unreleased, there is no official Spotify playlist yet, but rumors point to a digital release dropping later this summer.
Gacha City Radio
This is the brand new dedicated J-pop and J-rock station, perfectly matching the Japanese setting. Hosted by Toko Ito (voiced by Aya Gomazuru), this station features massive Japanese artists like YOASOBI and Ado. You can stream the Gacha City Radio Spotify playlist whenever you need to get hyped up.
Sub Pop Records
If alternative and indie music is your vibe, tune in to Sub Pop Records. Hosted by actual Sub Pop employees Abbie Gobeli and Atticus George-Andrijeski, this station highlights bands like Sprints, Beach House, and Suki Waterhouse. Here is the link to the Sub Pop Records Spotify playlist.
Horizon Wave
Synthwave fans finally have a dedicated home. Hosted by Isabel Moss (voiced by Dev Joshi), Horizon Wave is packed with retro-futuristic tracks from Mitch Murder, The Midnight, and Lazerhawk. It is the absolute best station for midnight highway cruising. You can save the Horizon Wave Spotify playlist for your own night drives.
Horizon Opus
Sometimes you just need to relax and take in the scenery. Horizon Opus is a dedicated classical music station hosted by Takehiro Sato (voiced by Yuta Takenaka). Featuring beautiful compositions from Max Richter and Lindsey Stirling, it is perfect for calm exploration. You can listen to the Horizon Opus Spotify playlist when you need to unwind.
