E3 2023 Confirmed by ReedPop Global Head, Despite Absence of Major Players and confusing statement by Ubisoft.

Lance Fensterman, the Global Head of ReedPop, has confirmed to The Verge that E3 2023 will take place this year.

The big 3

This confirmation follows rumors that major players like Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony would not be attending the event which made some gamers worried that E3 might be canceled this year.

Ubisoft

Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, added to the confusion when he stated that Ubisoft will be present at E3 "if it happens." But this announcement puts to rest any speculation that E3 is on its way out, although its importance seems to be slowly fading for many, as big companies like Microsoft seem to be more interested in hosting their own events.

E3

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, is a highly anticipated event in the gaming industry, and despite the absence of some major players, E3 2023 promises to be an exciting event, with many new games expected to be showcased.

E3 2023 will be held in Los Angeles from June 13th to June 16th. Fans can look forward to attending the event or tuning in online to catch all of the latest gaming news and updates. In addition, on June 8th, journalist Geoff Keighley will host the Summer Game Fest once again.
