Halo Campaign Evolved: The Full Achievement Roadmap
Fifty-eight achievements sit between you and a completed save file, and roughly a third of them only show up once you've already beaten the campaign the normal way.
Nothing here is missable. Every level supports checkpoint replay, so a Skull left behind on mission four doesn't mean starting the whole campaign over. That's the good news. The less good news is the time investment: expect somewhere between 25 and 45 hours to clear the full list, mostly because Legendary, Campaign Remix, and full LASO all demand their own separate completion runs on top of a standard first playthrough.
Mission Completion and Collectible Achievements
Every main and bonus mission carries two guaranteed achievements, one for finishing it and one for tracking down every Skull and Terminal hidden inside. Thirteen missions, twenty-six achievements, no shortcuts.
Twenty-six down. The other thirty-two are where a mission clear stops being enough.
The Mission-Specific Challenges
A handful of achievements are tied to a single moment in a single mission, and these are the ones that actually eat your time.
On The Pillar of Autumn, gunning down Captain Keyes triggers six Marines who want revenge. Don't fight them head on. Sprint past them toward the bridge where the pilots stand, and they'll follow you the whole way. Punch them out once they're bunched up there and This Is My Ship Now is done in under a minute.
Silent Cartographer hides Map Quest, which asks you to clear the level without firing a single shot, throwing a grenade, meleeing, dying, or restarting. That means sprinting and jumping past everything instead of fighting it. Slower and more frustrating than it sounds, but there's no combat solution to a no-combat achievement.
Assault on the Control Room has a narrow window at the "If I Had a Super Weapon..." checkpoint where an Elite is racing you to a parked Banshee. Head up the stairs and put a headshot on it fast, or you're watching someone else fly off in your ride.
343 Guilty Spark's Arm's Length wants the entire first floor cleared without taking a hit. Drop to Easy for this one specifically, since difficulty doesn't gate the achievement, then lean on Assault Rifle spray and grenades to clear rooms before enemies get a shot off.
Two Betrayals holds the toughest combo achievement in the list. Like Old Times requires four specific Skulls active at once: Speed Limit, Endurance Spec, Hip Fire, and Armistice. All four come from earlier missions, Pillar of Autumn and Silent Cartographer specifically, so track those down well before you attempt this one. Showing up without them means backtracking through two missions you've already cleared.
The Maw closes the main campaign with two smaller achievements. Food Critic just wants you to find a Grunt rambling about his diet, tucked in a side room roughly 750 meters into the Warthog run tunnel, on the right. Clean Lap is the harder ask, finishing that same Warthog run without getting knocked out of your seat by an explosion or a bad landing.
Over in the bonus missions, Jiralhanae Conservationist on The Most Dangerous Game asks you to ignore the rampaging Brutes entirely rather than engage them, which runs against every instinct a shooter usually builds in you.
Difficulty Achievements
Greenhorn, Birth of a Spartan, Heroes Never Die, and Living Legend map directly to Easy, Normal, Heroic, and Legendary. The useful detail here is that finishing on Legendary appears to award the three below it as well, which means one full Legendary run covers all four difficulty achievements instead of four separate campaign completions. Worth confirming as you go, but it's the assumption to plan around rather than grinding four full playthroughs on faith.
Campaign Remix and the Hardest Achievement in the Game
Remix unlocks once you've picked up any three Skulls, and it reshuffles enemy types, weapon spawns, and faction behavior depending on which three you're running. REMIX! just asks you to finish one remixed mission. Beat the Drop bumps that up to finishing one without dying.
Mix Master wants the entire Remixed campaign cleared without a single death across all thirteen missions. Remix's randomization means you can't rely on a memorized route the way you can on a standard Legendary run, so treat any death as a hard stop, reload the last save or force quit immediately, and never let a death write itself into the run.
LASO and MYTHIC
LASO opens up once all 17 of a specific Skull set are in hand, and it stacks every one of those modifiers onto Legendary at the same time. Iron alone changes the entire risk profile of the run, since dying resets your checkpoint in co-op or the full level in solo. Clearing the campaign under these conditions is what unlocks MYTHIC, and it's built for a player who already knows every encounter well enough to not need trial and error.
Combat and Collection Achievements
A batch of achievements just track cumulative actions across the whole campaign and don't need a dedicated run. Make Them Count (100 headshot kills), Claims Adjuster (50 destroyed vehicle parts), Disarmed (100 dismembered Flood limbs), New Whip (10 hijacked vehicles), Plate Tectonics (25 Hunter backplates), and Bad Gas (100 destroyed Grunt backpacks) will all fall into place naturally if you're playing aggressively and finishing enemies with variety instead of the same weapon every fight.
Three achievements need a specific Skull setup and a bit of planning. All Shield No Yield wants a Heroic-or-higher level cleared without taking health damage, so pick a short mission, fight from cover, and let your shield regenerate before pushing forward. Frugal Fire needs Famine, Recession, and Johnny Ammo Seed active together while you finish a mission without running dry on ammo, which rewards conservative shooting on something compact like The Pillar of Autumn. Hot Streak activates with the Floor Is Lava Skull and asks you to avoid jumping or dying entirely, best attempted on Easy in The Silent Cartographer where sticking to solid ground and stealing a Warthog keeps you moving without a single hop.
Collectible Totals and the Final Trophy
Thirty-nine Skulls and 13 Terminals are scattered across the full campaign, and five achievements track your progress through them: Cranial for your first Skull, Making a Necklace at 22, Headhunter for all 39, Lore Have Mercy for every Terminal, and Collector's Addition once both sets are fully cleared. Fully Evolved sits at the very end and unlocks automatically the moment the other 57 achievements are done, so there's no separate task attached to it beyond finishing everything else.
The Order That Actually Saves You Time
Run your first playthrough on Easy or Normal and prioritize Skulls and Terminals over combat efficiency. Collectibles don't care what difficulty you're on, so grabbing them early means Legendary and LASO runs later aren't also collection runs. Once three Skulls are in hand, start chipping at Remix on the side, working toward Beat the Drop before attempting the no-death full clear in Mix Master. Save Legendary for a dedicated run once you've got your collectibles handled, and treat LASO as the actual final task, since it needs all 17 of a specific Skull set and is built to be the last thing standing between you and Fully Evolved.
