High On Life 2 Leaked for Switch 2 via European Retail Listings

It looks like our favorite chatty alien guns are making their way to Nintendo's current powerhouse, thanks to some overeager store pages that went live a little too early.

We already knew High On Life 2 was dropping on February 13, 2026, for the usual suspects, but Squanch Games has been remarkably quiet about a Nintendo version this time around. Well, silence or not, the retail machine waits for no one. Several European shops have just put up listings for a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the sequel, effectively letting the cat, or the talking gun, out of the bag before the official marketing machine could do its job.

The Retail Leak

This isn't just one rogue employee pressing the wrong button. Listings have popped up across multiple storefronts, including Netgames, Gameware, and World of Games. When you see smoke coming from three different places, there is usually a fire.

The listings are surprisingly specific too. They point to Clear River Games as the publisher for this version. If you collect physical media, you might want to brace yourself for this next part. The listings specifically mention a "Game Key Card." So, even though you are buying a box, you are likely just getting a download code. It is the classic "physical release that isn't actually physical" maneuver that we all love to hate.

Why It Makes Perfect Sense

While I always tell people to take retailer leaks with a grain of salt until the press release hits my inbox, this one feels pretty safe. The first High On Life didn't just get a Switch 1 port, it got a dedicated Switch 2 upgrade over the summer. Squanch Games clearly sees the value in Nintendo's ecosystem.

With the Switch 2 having been on the market for a while now, there is zero hardware reason to skip it. The console is more than capable of handling the visual chaos of Squanch's sci-fi world.

The Release Window

If these listings are accurate, Switch 2 owners won't be waiting long. The release date on these pages aligns with the Steam launch: February 13, 2026. The price is sitting around €58.99, which is pretty standard for a new release these days.

I am still waiting on official word from Squanch Games to confirm this, but considering the track record of European retailer leaks, I would bet my favorite bounty hunter suit that we will see an announcement very soon. Until then, you can probably start clearing some SD card space, because that "Game Key Card" isn't going to install itself.
