Palworld 1.0 Sekhmet Guide: Locations, Breeding, and Base Buffs

If your assembly lines are struggling to pump out high tier gear, you need to recruit the ultimate feline supervisor to whip your workforce into shape.

Scrolling through the massive Palworld 1.0 all new pals list reveals plenty of massive dragons and terrifying bosses, but the real secret to dominating the endgame economy is a pampered cat. Coming in at entry number 140, Sekhmet is a brand new Ground type that completely breaks standard base automation. According to her lore, she used to be a terrifying symbol of death until Anubis stole her job, leaving wealthy elites to bribe her with wine until she became a symbol of high nobility. Now, she exists entirely to make your primary workers faster. Before you sprint blindly into the desert looking for her, I mapped out exactly where she hides and the easiest ways to hatch her at home.

Where to Find and Catch Sekhmet

If you prefer the thrill of the hunt over staring at an incubator, you have to pack your bags and head into her specific desert habitats.

The good news is that she operates on a 24-hour schedule. You can find her roaming the sands during both the day and the night, so you don't have to awkwardly stand around a campfire waiting for the sun to set. Because Sekhmet is a pure Ground type, she is incredibly weak to Grass element attacks. Make sure you load your active party with your strongest Grass hitters to shred her 110 base HP down to a catchable range.

If you just need to farm her for materials, taking her out guarantees a drop of Leather and Large Pal Souls. If you push into the extreme endgame and start farming her level 80 variants, her drop pool expands massively. She will start dropping Ground Radiant Gems and high tier treasures like Glowing and Glistening Ancient Relics, which are critical for late game progression.

Why You Need Sekhmet in Your Base

You don't catch this cat for her combat stats. You catch her because she is an absolute monster on the factory floor.

Sekhmet boasts a staggering Level 6 Handiwork suitability. This means she will assemble complex spheres and weapons significantly faster than basically anything else you caught in the early game. She backs up that speed with Level 3 Mining and Level 2 Transporting, keeping your stone pits clear and your chests full when she isn't actively building items on a workbench.

The Desert Empress Partner Skill

The real reason she belongs in your main camp is her exclusive partner skill: Desert Empress. Sekhmet is specifically designed to function as a support unit for Anubis. Just having her assigned to your base gives any Anubis in the area a passive 20 percent boost to their work speed. When Sekhmet actually starts working on a task herself, that boost jumps up to a massive 30 percent.

If you pair her with a highly optimized Anubis, your crafting times basically disappear. Just keep an eye out if your base gets raided, as she will stop working to throw out her exclusive Somersault Scratch and Rolling Scratch attacks to keep invaders away from the assembly lines.

The Best Sekhmet Breeding Combos

Before you waste your legendary spheres out in the wild, remember that you can entirely bypass the capture math by using your Breeding Farm.

You have plenty of accessible parental combinations that result in a Sekhmet egg. If you already followed my Palworld 1.0 ophydia location breeding guide and have an Ophydia resting in your box, you are already halfway there.

Parent One Parent Two Hatched Pal
Anubis Nyafia Sekhmet
Icelyn Anubis Sekhmet
Ophydia Prixter Sekhmet
Starryon Primo Incineram Noct Sekhmet
Palumba Astegon Sekhmet

Once you hatch a healthy Sekhmet with solid passive traits, you can actually turn around and use her to breed entirely new creatures for your collection. Throwing her back into the farm alongside a Helzephyr Lux gives you a Loomen, while pairing her with a Lunaris guarantees a Shroomer Noct.
