Every Doppelganger in Shift at Midnight, Night by Night
Every customer walking through that gas station door in Shift at Midnight might be wearing a person suit over something a lot worse, and this table breaks down who's lying to you on which night.
Working a night shift is bad enough without cross-referencing IDs against a mental database of monsters. Shift at Midnight builds its whole loop around that paranoia: check the details, watch the behavior, and decide fast whether the person at the counter is getting a receipt or a bullet. Miss a doppelganger and it doesn't just vanish, it comes back later in the shift as something considerably less polite. Shoot an innocent customer and you're eating the cost out of your own earnings.
Worth flagging before you scan the table: customer lineups can shift a bit between playthroughs, so treat this as a strong reference for pattern recognition rather than a guaranteed script. Also, a few names show up twice in the same night as two separate customers (Tommy Delgado, Louisa Mari, Andal Khan). When that happens, the rows are listed in the order they come through the door.
The One Rule That Actually Matters Here
Strip away the individual names and this whole list boils down to one instruction: verify the person standing in front of you, not the memory of who they were last time you served them. Clyde Dawson clears human on Night 1 and Night 4, then turns up a doppelganger on Night 9. Diana Volkov does the same flip in reverse, human on Night 7, doppelganger by Night 12. "Driver" alone swings between human and doppelganger across half the nights on this list. A name you've cleared before buys you nothing tonight.
If you find a doppelganger, deal with it before the transaction finishes. Shooting them after they've already completed the sale doesn't stop them from coming back as a monster later in the shift, it just means you spent a bullet for nothing.
