Slime Rancher 2 Guide: Your Ticket to the 100% Club
Alright, let's get this out of the way. Achievements are brand new with the 1.0 update, so this guide is fresh off the press - Also, this guide is going to spoil new areas and endgame content. If you want to go in blind, bookmark this page and come back when you're stuck.
Home Base Housekeeping
These are the achievements you can knock out mostly from the comfort of your own Conservatory. They’re all about building up your ranch and making some serious cash.
Far Range Friends. This one's easy but takes time. Just keep checking your Comm Station back at the base after you've been out exploring. Eventually, Mochi, Viktor, Thora, Ogden, and BOb will all call and send you a gift, and this trophy will pop.
BeamMeUp. You'll need to craft a Return Home Portal using the Fabricator and then place it somewhere out in the world. Once you use it for the first time, the achievement is yours.
Polestar Pro. This requires you to purchase 40 unique items from the Polestar Provisions shop. It's a bit of a money sink, but you'll get it eventually as you upgrade your gear.
Plortonomics. You need to sell 15 different types of plorts at the Plort Market. Just make sure you're ranching a wide variety of slimes and their largos to get this one done.
Bea-llionaire. Earn a total of 100,000 newbucks. You'll be swimming in cash by the late game, so just keep selling those plorts and this will unlock naturally.
Complete Conservatory. For this, you need to purchase all five Ranch Expansions. Two of them, the Tidepools and another hidden one, are only accessible after you buy the expansions they're attached to. Just save up your newbucks and buy them all.
The Grand Tour
These achievements are tied to progressing the story and unlocking the main areas of Rainbow Island.
Rainbow Explorer. You'll get this one early. Just feed the giant Cotton Gordo to unlock the portal to Starlight Strand and the big Pink Gordo to unlock Ember Valley. Once you step through your second portal, this is yours.
Secret Behind The Waterfall. This requires you to discover the entrance to the Powderfall Bluffs, a hidden, frosty biome.
Into the Unknown. As you explore, you'll eventually find and open one of the large, sealed doors that leads into the Grey Labyrinth. The achievement pops as soon as you open it.
Core Breach. Deep within the Grey Labyrinth, you will find the entrance to the Prismacore. Simply entering this final area will net you the achievement.
A Real Hero. This is the final story achievement. You'll get it for helping Gigi stabilize the Prismacore and completing the main narrative of the game.
The Weird and Wonderful
This is the grab-bag of miscellaneous tasks, from hunting rare resources to getting struck by lightning.
All That Glitters. This one's a pain. You need to hold a Strange Diamond, Sun Sap, Royal Jelly, and a Lightning Mote in your vacpack at the same time. The first three are just rare resources, but the Lightning Mote only has a small chance to spawn during a Lightning Strike weather event. My advice? Build a Silo, store the first three, then go hunting for a storm.
Charged Up. Speaking of lightning, for this you need to get struck by it. During a thunderstorm, you'll see sparks on the ground just before a bolt hits. Run to that spot like an idiot. If you're fast enough, you'll get zapped and earn the achievement.
Fly Like A Bea. You'll need to upgrade your jetpack a few times for this one. Once you have enough energy capacity, just find a high cliff and fly straight up for 5 seconds.
Pop! To get this, you just need to feed any three giant Gordo slimes until they explode. The three closest to your base are the Phosphor, Cotton, and Pink Gordos.
Rainbow Researcher. You'll need to discover every slime, resource, and location to complete the Slimepedia. This is a big one that will take most of your playthrough.
Real Goal Getter. Craft a Slimeball Goal gadget and place it in a corral with some slimes. You need to score 120 points within a single minute.
Shady Deals. You need to make three purchases from the Night Market, a special vendor that appears in a specific location at midnight.
Tarrnado. First, find a Tarr slime. Then, wait for a tornado to form during the cyclone weather pattern. Suck up the Tarr with your vacpack and fire it directly into the tornado.
Tinkerer. This is likely the first achievement you'll get. The tutorial gives you a Med Station and tells you to place it. Do that, and it's yours.
Tinker Tailor Science Slime. You need to craft 8 unique player upgrades at the Fabricator, like jetpack upgrades or extra health.
Treasure Hunter. There are treasure pods scattered all over Rainbow Island. Just find and pop open 50 of them.
Turn The Dial. While exploring the Grey Labyrinth, you'll find Shadow Plort Collectors. Fill up 10 of these strange devices to unlock this.
Now You're Thinking with Plortals. Craft a Linked Cannon gadget. It allows you to fire items from one cannon to another. Shoot any plort through one to send it back to the Plort Market at your base.
Can't Make an Omelette. Find a Yolky Slime and put it in a coop with some chickens. Eventually, it will help a hen lay a giant egg. Pick up the egg and launch it against a wall to break it.
You Can Pet the Cat. This is the easiest achievement in the game. Go to the ProntoMart shop terminal. See the cat icon on the screen? Click it. Done.
Quantum Crafter. You need to craft 5 of the new Quantum Drones. This is a late-game achievement, as the resources required are pretty demanding.
