Thomas and Friends: Wonders of Sodor Collectibles Guide - The Complete 100% Scavenger Hunt
Finding every single hidden item on the Island of Sodor is a massive test of patience that will push your completionist brain to its absolute limits.
I never thought I would spend a weekend meticulously combing through a digital train yard for Alec Baldwin's lost headwear. Yet here I am. Thomas and Friends: Wonders of Sodor actually hides a deceptively massive collectathon beneath its wholesome exterior. If you suffer from the same completionist brain rot I do, you are going to want all 80 of these hidden items. Sodor is crawling with secrets, and tracking them down without a roadmap is a fast track to madness.
There are four categories of collectibles to hunt down. You have twenty Paintings, twenty Mr. Conductor Hats, twenty Guard Whistles, and twenty classic Thomas Books. Finding them all unlocks a handful of achievements and fills up the gallery spaces at Knapford Station. I cross-referenced my own endless wandering with some excellent community mapping from players like XavierC97 to bring you this definitive checklist. Grab a coffee. I have a lot of ground to cover.
The Painting Locations
These items are essentially framed screenshots from the game. They are thankfully easy to spot and almost exclusively found plastered on the walls of main stations. Once you grab them, they populate the Gallery at Knapford Station.
Mr. Conductor's Hat Locations
Sodor's magical dispatcher has a serious problem keeping track of his uniform. These iconic blue and red hats are scattered all over the map. They do not get displayed in Knapford, but you absolutely need them to pop the Shining Time achievement.
Guard Whistle Locations
Prepare to squint. These are easily the most frustrating items to spot because of their tiny footprint. Sodor apparently has a massive problem with abandoned luggage, because nearly every single whistle was left behind on a random suitcase.
Thomas Books Locations
These collectibles are digital recreations of the original Railway Series books. Finding these feels like uncovering actual historical artifacts out in the wild. Once collected, they are displayed in the Bookstall Gallery at Knapford Station.
It is a massive grind, but knocking out those achievements brings a very specific kind of peace. Now you can finally get back to the actual trains or … whatever else you like to do on a friday evening.
