Cozy Cleaner Achievement Guide: Sweeping Up 100% Completion
Before you restart a half-finished room and lose all your progress, you need to know exactly how this game tracks your cleaning efforts.
Cozy Cleaner is supposed to be a relaxing time, but nothing ruins a chill vibe faster than staring at a missing hidden achievement. I spent my time wiping down virtual countertops and organizing fridges to figure out exactly what it takes to hit that sweet 100% completion. The good news is that you have zero missable achievements here. You can jump back into any level whenever you want. Just keep in mind that your progress does not save if you quit a room halfway through. You have to finish the job in one sitting, or you will be starting from scratch the next time you load in.
The Complete Achievement Checklist
There’s in total 19 achievements, including the hidden ones. Most of these will unlock naturally as you clear out the grime, but a few require specific actions outside of the normal gameplay loop.
Maximizing Your Upgrades
Before you blow your hard-earned coins evenly across all your gear, you need a strategy. Finishing levels pays you, and you use those coins in the shop to make your life significantly easier.
The Hand Priority
Buy your first upgrade to unlock "First upgrade", but then you should immediately dump all your funds into maxing out your hands. Upgrading your hands speeds up the entire game immensely. Hitting max level on any single tool unlocks "Perfect Tool". After your hands are fully sorted, you can slowly chip away at upgrading the rest of your base gear to eventually trigger the "Well-Equiped Cleaner" achievement.
Nailing the Hidden and Specific Tasks
You will get all the campaign and minigame achievements just by playing through the main level list. The minigames are practically impossible to fail. Just follow the on-screen instructions for the fridge, garden, piece assembly, and lawn sections. For the fridge, just remember to open the drawer for the fruit. The interactive achievements, however, require a bit of poking around.
Gentle Touch
You need to pet a cat, but the one sitting on the main start menu does not count. Load into any standard playable level that features a cat and give it a pet to trigger this hidden achievement.
Curious Hands
This hidden achievement actually requires messing around on the main menu screen. Find the ball sitting on the screen and keep clicking it. You have to knock it entirely off its resting spot and into the water to get the notification to pop.
Guiding Paw
If you ever get stuck wondering where a specific item goes, the game has a built-in hint system. Pick up a piece of trash or an object that needs placing, and hold it in your hand without moving. Eventually, a cat will walk over and show you exactly where the item belongs. Let the cat guide you to the endpoint and the achievement is yours. If you are ever truly lost and do not want to wait on the cat, you can always click the star icon for a direct visual hint.
