nophenia achievement Guide: Easy 100% Completion

Waking up with a perfect completion screen is a lot easier when you know exactly what weird tasks to repeat.

Atmospheric low-poly gameplay screenshot from the horror game nophenia, showing a dark, red-lit train station platform with retro PS1-style graphics and a blurred train in the background.

I love a good dreamscape, but sometimes I just want to check off the boxes and see that completion tracker hit a hundred percent. Getting every achievement in nophenia requires a bit of wandering and a whole lot of repetitive button mashing. The game only has four achievements right now, so knocking them out is a fast process.

The Achievement Breakdown

Getting all four available achievements is a straightforward process once you know the exact triggers.

Achievement Unlock Requirement
"...?" Find a bright white ghost and talk to them.
"awoo" Press "H" to howl repeatedly until it unlocks.
"meow" Press "Esc" to access your phone, open the cat app, and pet the cat repeatedly.
"boredom..." Jump on the bed in the spawn bedroom 522 times.

Grinding It Out

Before you waste your afternoon howling at the moon and wondering if your game is bugged, I want to clarify a few things about how these triggers actually work.

Finding the Ghost

The "...?" achievement relies entirely on random spawns. You need to locate a bright white ghost and strike up a conversation. I found my ghost hanging out at the train station right after leaving the bedroom area. Since the exact location changes, you simply need to keep your eyes peeled as you explore the map and investigate any new areas you stumble into.

The Repetitive Actions

The rest of your completion run tests your endurance. For the "awoo" achievement, you'll be mashing the "H" key to howl. It takes a surprisingly long time to trigger, so don't stop until you see the notification pop up.

The exact same logic applies to the "meow" achievement. Open your phone menu by pressing "Esc", find the cat app, and start clicking to pet the cat until the game rewards you.

Finally, "boredom..." demands that you jump on the bed in your starting bedroom exactly 522 times. My best advice is to put on a podcast, zone out, and keep jumping until you see that final achievement unlock.
