Soulmask Worship Containers Guide - Raiding The Barbarian Barracks
Grinding for endgame materials usually involves getting mobbed by a dozen angry zealots.
You hit a point in this game where picking up sticks and hitting rocks just does not cut it anymore. If you want the top tier loot hidden inside the Ancient Pyramids, you have to summon the Temple Guardians. The problem is that the summoning ritual demands an item called a Worship Container, and the game guards these things viciously. You cannot craft them, and you certainly will not find them lying around in the dirt. You have to take them by force from the local tribe leaders.
I have run these gauntlets enough times to know that walking into a fortified enemy compound blindly is a guaranteed death sentence. The enemy density is absurd, and they hit incredibly hard. Let me walk you through exactly how to pinpoint these locations and execute a raid without losing your entire inventory.
Locating The Barbarian Barracks
Worship Containers are exclusively dropped by the enemy chiefs stationed inside Barbarian Barracks. Finding these massive camps is your first major hurdle.
Extracting Intel From Scouts
You could theoretically wander around the jungle hoping to stumble over a fortress, but that is a massive waste of your time. You want to use the local scouts against their own people. Look for smaller, standard Barbarian Camps scattered around your starting zones. Find the resident scout and beat them down until they are practically dead.
The game will prompt you to deter them. Hitting that interact prompt siphons their knowledge, strips away the fog of war on your map, and flags the major points of interest nearby. You are looking specifically for the massive Barrack icons. Revealing the map this way saves you hours of aimless wandering and lets you plan your approach carefully.
Surviving The Siege
Knowing where the camp is and actually surviving the trip inside are two very different things. These locations are swarming with hostile NPCs who will aggressively swarm you the second you step through the front gate.
Building Your Strike Team
Trying to clear a Barrack by yourself is a terrible idea. Even if you are heavily armed, the sheer volume of enemies will overwhelm your stamina bar and weapon durability. You need to bring your own personal army. If you have been keeping up with how to increase your tribe limit, you should have a solid roster of disposable combatants back at your base.
Hold your interact button while aiming at a tribesman and select the Deploy option to add them to your active squad. By default, you can drag up to three companions with you into combat. Gear them up with the absolute best weapons you can forge. If you are still struggling to equip them properly, double back and review how to get bronze, copper, and tin so your squad actually stands a chance in a prolonged firefight.
Taking Down The Chief
Fight your way methodically through the compound. Do not rush, or you will pull aggro from the entire camp at once. Let your AI companions take the frontline damage while you pick off targets from the perimeter. You are hunting for the local tribe leader.
Once you finally put the chief in the dirt, loot their bag immediately. This is where you will find your Worship Containers, alongside a decent pile of high quality gear. Because your weapons and armor will likely be in terrible shape after the siege, make sure you understand how to repair weapons and buildings before you even think about hitting a second camp.
Unlocking The Ancient Pyramids
Now that your pockets are full of stolen ritual artifacts, you actually need to put them to use.
Summoning The Temple Guardians
Worship Containers are the literal keys to the endgame boss fights. You take these containers to the Ancient Pyramids scattered across the map to summon Temple Guardians. Be prepared for a brutal encounter, because these guardians have three distinct difficulty tiers, with each consecutive level scaling up the incoming damage significantly.
The Ritual Requirements
You cannot just drop a container on an altar and expect a fight. The summoning rituals require a heavy cocktail of resources. Along with the Worship Container itself, you will need a massive supply of Beast Blood and high quality sacrificial cuts. If your meat supply is running low, you will need to set up a premium fresh meat farm to keep the rituals going without interruption.
If you manage to survive the fight and kill the Temple Guardian, the payoff is massive. They are the absolute best source of Blue Crystals in the game. Furthermore, unlocking the chests inside the pyramid yields incredible loot that completely changes your combat potential. It is a miserable, bloody grind to get here, but dominating these pyramids is the entire point of the endgame loop.
