Arc Raiders Economy Exploit: This Crafting Recipe Is Literally Printing Money

Stop selling your batteries right now, because you are throwing away a fortune.

Making money in Arc Raiders isn't exactly hard, but it usually requires a steady loop of scavenging and extracting. However, thanks to a sharp-eyed Redditor, we might have just found a way to skip the extraction part entirely and just print cash at the crafting bench.

User Cryptidsspook on the Arc Raiders subreddit dropped a bombshell PSA yesterday that is changing how we look at "junk" loot. After analyzing a crafting value table, they discovered a recipe that offers an absurd return on investment.

The item? Energy Cells.

The Math Behind The Money

Usually, crafting ammo feels like a sunk cost, something you do to survive, not to get rich. But the exchange rate on Energy Cells is currently broken in the player's favor.

The Recipe Costs:

  • 2x Batteries: Valued at ~500 coins total.

  • 1x Advanced ARC Powercell: Valued at ~640 coins.

  • Total Cost: ~1,140 coins.

The Sell Price:

  • 5x Energy Cells: Sells for 5,000 coins.

That is a profit of nearly 4,000 coins per craft.

Cryptidsspook claims to have made "500K progress" just by running around collecting batteries and burning through their stockpile of Powercells. They also noted a secondary hustle: you can buy 10 Batteries from the vendor Celeste for 50 seeds and flip them for a 20k profit using this method.

What You Should Do

  1. Stop Selling Batteries: Batteries are no longer junk. They are gold bars disguised as AAAs.

  2. Hoard Advanced ARC Powercells: These drop from higher-tier ARC enemies. Don't recycle them.

  3. Check The Vendor: If Celeste is selling Batteries for seeds, buy her out immediately.

  4. Craft Energy Cells: Do not use them. Sell them back to the vendor.

This feels like the kind of economy oversight that Embark will patch out once they realize everyone is becoming a millionaire by manufacturing ammo. Until then, get to the crafting bench and start printing money.

Thanks to Cryptidsspook and Nice-Firefighter424 for doing the math so we don't have to.
