Arknights: Endfield Oroberyl Guide - How To Fuel Your Gacha Addiction For Free

The only thing standing between you and that S-tier Operator you desperately want is a pile of shiny purple rocks called Oroberyl.

In Arknights: Endfield, Oroberyl is the lifeblood of your roster. It is the premium currency used exclusively for "Headhunting," which is just a fancy word for gambling on the gacha banners. I have spent way too much time scouring Talos-II for these things, and I have realized that while the game is generous at the start, the well dries up fast if you don't know where to look.

The Cost of Business

Before you go spending, you need to know the rates. A single pull costs 500 Oroberyl. A 10-pull sets you back 5,000 Oroberyl. It sounds steep because it is. You are going to need a lot of this stuff if you want to hit pity on a rate-up banner.

You can use Oroberyl to buy two types of tickets:

  • Basic HH Permit: For the standard banner (don't waste your rocks here).

  • Chartered HH Permit: For the limited/rate-up banners (spend everything here).

How To Get Oroberyl For Free

The game throws a lot at you early on, but you need a routine to keep the income flowing. I have broken down the most efficient ways to farm it so you aren't wandering aimlessly.

The Operational Manual is Your Best Friend

You thought this was just the tutorial menu? Wrong, it is a bank vault. The Node tab offers huge payouts for upgrading weapons and gear. The Simulation tab is even easier, you get 25 Oroberyl just for learning how an AIC factory works.

If you are near the endgame, look at Etchspace Salvage. It is a grind, requiring serious exploration, but clearing it rewards a massive 1,800 Oroberyl and 10 pulls. Do not ignore this.

Daily Grind and Exploration

You have to do your Daily Missions. I know, it's a chore, but it's the most consistent income you have. Combine that with simply playing the game to raise your Authority Level (account level), which drops 50 to 100 Oroberyl every time you ding a new level.

When you are out in the world, look for chests. Talos-II is covered in them, and they drop anywhere from 15 to 60 Oroberyl each. It adds up quicker than you think.

OROBERYL FARMING SOURCES

A breakdown of where to find the rocks and if it's worth your time.

SOURCE YIELD & MY TAKE
Operational Manual High Yield. Focus on "Node" missions and "Etchspace Salvage" (1,800 total) for big payouts.
Exploration (Chests) 15-60 per chest. Good for passive income while doing quests.
Authority Level 50-100 per level. Slow but steady. Don't grind XP just for this.
Simulations 25 per clear. Easy money. Do these immediately.

For The Spenders: The Monthly Pass

If you are willing to open your wallet, the Monthly Pass is the only thing I would recommend for a light spender. It costs $4.99 and gives you a total of 6,000 Oroberyl over the course of a month, plus some premium currency. That is more than a 10-pull for five bucks, which beats the direct exchange rate of the premium Origeometry (which converts at a rate of 1 to 75 Oroberyl) by a mile.
