I never expected a strictly single-player pirate game to feature a promo code shop, but I'm certainly not turning down free loot.
The 2026 remake of Edward Kenway's adventure is easily my favorite way to sail the Caribbean. It brings massive improvements to exploration and combat, along with a hefty chunk of new story content that fleshes out the world nicely. Ubisoft also slipped in a rather mysterious feature for this release: an active code redemption system. Since this isn't a live-service grind, getting free cosmetics and pets for exactly zero dollars is a welcome surprise.
Active Codes And Rewards
Some of these codes are universal strings you can punch right in, while others require you to jump through a few promotional hoops to generate a single-use key. I've broken down exactly what you get and how you get it.
How To Actually Redeem Your Loot
The actual redemption process varies depending on your platform.
PC Redemption
If you play on PC, things work the way they should. Open the in-game store, look at the bottom left corner, and click the Redeem Code option. You can also trigger this by hitting LT or L2 on your controller.
Console Workaround
The in-game redemption button is notoriously busted on consoles right now. Skip the in-game store entirely and use your phone or computer instead. Go straight to the official Ubisoft redemption page and log into the Ubisoft account attached to your platform. Paste your code into the box and click the blue button. Your items will automatically load into your inventory the next time you boot up the game.
Claiming Twitch And Red Bull Cosmetics
The universal codes are easy, but those single-use promotional codes require a tiny bit of extra effort and have strict deadlines attached to them.
Twitch Drops
You have until the end of July to grab the Rustborne Swords and the Cheetah Claw Cat. Link your Ubisoft and Twitch accounts, then watch someone playing the game. Two hours gets you the swords, and hitting four hours gets you the cat. Just remember you only have 24 hours to claim the rewards from your Twitch inventory once you unlock them, otherwise they disappear.
Red Bull Sails
The Wings of the Tempest Sails require you to take a short quiz on the Red Bull promo site. This campaign runs through September 30. After you finish the quiz, they email you a unique code. Don't panic if the sails delay showing up in your ship customization menu right away. The delivery system is a bit slow, and Red Bull sends a second confirmation email once the sails are actually ready to equip on the Jackdaw.
