Berry Bury Berry Black Stars Guide: Solving Every Puzzle Without Crying
I thought I was playing a relaxing game about fruit until I had to solve a math equation on a radio while holding a sledgehammer.
If you are hunting for the Black Stars in Berry Bury Berry, you have probably realized the game stops holding your hand and starts throwing vague riddles at you. Some of these are fun, and some of them, looking at you, Radio Star, are just frustrating. I spent hours bashing walls and shredding fruit to figure out the exact triggers for all seven stars. Here is the step-by-step breakdown on how to get them so you can get back to the idle grind.
The Tile Puzzle Star
This is the "check your memory" star. It is straightforward, but if you mess it up, the punishment is annoying. You have to wait for the in-game day to restart if you fail, which is a waste of time.
I just grabbed blueberries and tossed them onto the panels to reveal the hidden images. It is a standard matching game. Find the pairs, clear the board. Once you match them all, you get the star and a computer password. Write this down or just read it here: BIQT.
The Radio Math Star
This puzzle is the worst one. First, you need the upgraded sledgehammer. Smash the walls around the computer room until you see hints written on the wall.
You have to press the buttons on the radio in a specific order. The logic is that the Right button adds and the Left button subtracts (or switches sides), but honestly, who cares about the math? Just input this sequence exactly. Remember to always hit the Right button first to start.

Input that correctly, and you get the star plus a tape.
The Smoothie Star
You need to be a bit further in the game for this. Make sure you have the Third Sledgehammer Upgrade, the Chainsaw, and the Computer Password from the tile puzzle.
Smash the third layer of walls until you find the smoothie stand. The computer gives you a recipe, but I will save you the reading time. You need to toss these specific ingredients into the chainsaw to shred them:
5 Blueberries (This should fill half the juice meter)
3 Strawberries
1 Kiwi
1 Peach
Order doesn't matter. Just blend them up, take the smoothie to the stand, and collect your star.
The Trophy Star
This is a late-game grind. You need the Bubble Upgrade and a Pumpkin Buddy. You also need to smash the walls around the computer room to expose the concrete.
Fly up to the cutout on the right side of the computer building to find the Trophy Room. You will see pedestals with silhouettes of berries. You need to place the Golden Version of every required berry on its matching pedestal. My advice? Upgrade your "Golden Berry Chance" and the "Berry Picker" for the tree, otherwise, you will be waiting around for days for the right RNG.
The Push Pin Stars
On the left side of the final layer, there is a massive blue push pin surrounded by red ones. This is a counting game.
Use the hole to look under the colored shapes nearby. You need to count how many pins are hidden between the shape and the big blue pin. Once you have the number, go to the Tomato Pincushion for that shape and enter the number. Do this for all shapes, then click the big blue pin. If you can count, the star is yours.
The Taxi Star
This one is hilarious. In the final layer, opposite the computer room, there is a clock next to the star door. This clock tells you when the yellow taxi arrives.
The taxi drives in, stops, and then turns around. To get the star, you need to be a menace to traffic. Place your hole in the road where the taxi drives. Make sure the hole is massive—big enough to swallow a car. Wait for the taxi, let it drive into the abyss, and the star will unlock.
The Final Star
This is the trickiest one because the game lies to you.
Go to the back of the final layer behind the computer room. You will see the floating star marker. Move your hole between the wall and the secret room to reveal a tiny gap. Use the Bubble to float down and up through that gap.
You will enter a room that looks like a hallway. If you walk forward, it loops forever. The trick is to walk backward while facing the green wall. Keep going until you hit the flower.
Touching the flower teleports you out, but you aren't done. You must break the bubble outside the entrance to actually pop the achievement and get the final Black Star.
