Deltarune Chapter 5 Guide: Every Cafe Interaction Explained
Before you blow all your Flowery Dollars on useless healing items, you need to save some cash to witness the absolute chaos happening in the local cafe.
Not long after you survive the courtroom madness of the Blue and Yellow boss fight, you finally gain access to the Chapter 5 cafe. It functions as a standard hub where you can save your game and buy supplies, but the real draw here is the "Flower Team Time" break system. You can spend your hard earned Flowery Dollars to watch different characters sit down and have deeply weird conversations with each other.
A handful of these are unlocked right from the start. To get the rest, you have to push through the main story and beat the various flower bosses holding down the Dark World.
How to Unlock More Conversations
The cafe roster expands as you win over the different colors. Every time you beat a duo in combat, their specific cafe scenes become available.
If you are struggling to clear the roster, I highly recommend checking out my Deltarune Chapter 5 Guide: How to Beat Orange and Green to get past their annoying healing loop. I also have a Deltarune Chapter 5 Guide: How to Beat Yellow and Blue if you need the trial answers.
The most elusive interactions belong to Pink. You have to beat the chapter's secret boss to invite her to the cafe. That requires tracking down the hidden currency first, so read my Deltarune Chapter 5 Guide: All 19 Pink Coin Locations to grab the Mystery Key. If you just want to see the conversations before taking on the final boss, head back to the cafe right before fighting Flowery.
The Complete Cafe Interaction List
There are over two dozen unique conversations to unlock. I mapped out exactly who talks to who and what ridiculous situations unfold when you put them in a room togetherThe Setup and Requirements
As you can see, Toby Fox really let the writing team off the leash for these interactions. My personal favorite is definitely Green entombing Yellow inside a block of solid cheese over a two-dollar debt. Save your currency and check these out before you roll the credits.
