Destiny 2 Guide: Decoding Every Single Raid Loot Table
Bungie finally gave me a reason to stop hoarding garbage rolls and actually hunt for targeted drops.
I have spent an embarrassing amount of hours grinding endgame encounters just hoping the random number generator takes pity on me. The Monument of Triumph update completely flipped the script by attaching unique combat synergies to every piece of raid armor, alongside meta weapon drops and exclusive Exotics. You can’t just blindly queue into an activity anymore. You need to know exactly which boss holds the piece you are missing. I dug through all eleven active raid difficulties and mapped out the specific loot tables so you can plan your farming runs efficiently.
If you are looking to optimize your time specifically inside the new boss rush mode, you should check out my Destiny 2 Pantheon 2.0 loot table and god rolls guide to see the exact weapon combinations you need to target.
Crota's End
Collecting two pieces of this Hive gear turns you into a walking bomb. The Cursed Fist bonus makes your melee kills detonate the target like a volatile Thrall. Stacking four pieces triggers Power of the Son, which rewards your aggression by scaling up your flinch resistance and damage mitigation the longer you stay locked in active combat.
Deep Stone Crypt
Running the Legacy's Oath armor set gives you some fantastic crowd control abilities. Equipping two pieces activates Augmented Servos, meaning whenever you secure a kill with your charged melee, you emit a wave that disorients everything nearby. Pushing to four pieces grants God-Like Judgment. This wildly aggressive perk fires off tracking micro-missiles the moment your personal shields drop or whenever you pop your ultimate. For a broader look at how to pair these traits, read my Destiny 2 Monument of Light all armor set bonuses breakdown.
Garden of Salvation
The Righteousness set leans heavily into fireteam support. Wearing two pieces initiates Network Admin, rewarding you and anyone standing near you with faster reload speeds, better handling, and a flat bump to your maximum health pool. Slapping on four pieces grants Network Upload. With this active, every single kill you secure with a weapon funnels fresh melee energy directly to your entire squad.
King's Fall
Running the classic dreadnaught gear provides some incredibly slick utility. Two pieces net you Iron Sharpens Iron, ensuring your weapons naturally generate more ammo progress whenever you put down an elite enemy or an opposing Guardian. Moving up to four pieces unlocks Ascendant Escape. Finish off a major threat, and the very next time an enemy strips your personal shield, you will instantly vanish into pure invisibility.
Root of Nightmares
Equipping two items from this loot pool activates Bad Dreams. If you eliminate an enemy currently suffering from a subclass penalty, you drastically bump up your chances of spawning Orbs of Power. Four items grant Dream-Devourer, turning your basic finishers on elite enemies into a free Devour activation that also layers on passive damage resistance.
Salvation's Edge
The Promised gear turns you into a highly resilient damage dealer. Start with two pieces to gain Stable Resonance, which kicks in after you drop an elite enemy, instantly layering your character with damage mitigation and a fat weapon damage bump. Move to a four piece layout to gain Resonance Redirection. As long as your Stable Resonance buff is ticking, shooting enemies will randomly trigger a shockwave that hurts and tires out anything caught in the blast radius.
The Desert Perpetual
The Collective Psyche gear gives you massive stat bumps strictly for playing the objective. Snagging two pieces provides Accretion, meaning every ammo brick you pick off the ground permanently accelerates your weapon handling speeds until the game registers your next death. Go up to four pieces to unlock Doppler Effect. This severely extends the duration of your outgoing Strand debuffs while simultaneously keeping your own Radiant and Restoration buffs alive much longer.
The Desert Perpetual Epic
If you step up to the Epic difficulty, you get access to the Wayward Psyche set. Two pieces give you Special Relativity. Whenever you run over any ammo brick, the game instantly reloads whatever Special weapons you currently have stowed away. Wearing four pieces unlocks Down the Line, which aggressively scales up your primary damage against lower tier enemies as long as you maintain consistent fire on a major boss or Champion.
The Last Wish
The Dreaming City loot pool features the Great Hunt set. Slotting two pieces earns you the Taken Barrier perk, which temporarily hardens you against incoming attacks right after you land a grenade kill. If you roll with four pieces, you unlock Taken Armaments. With this active, every grenade final blow you secure forces the game to dump extra Heavy ammo progress directly into your reserves.
Vault of Glass
Snagging two pieces of this classic Vex gear rewards you with Radiolaria Breach. Grabbing an Orb artificially bumps up your max health, and if your shields pop later in the fight, your character violently erupts in a splash of damaging Vex fluid. A four piece commitment brings Collective Power to the table, transforming any sustained weapon fire directly into freshly spawned Orbs as long as you are holding a subclass buff.
Vow of the Disciple
Rhulk's personal gear completely changes close quarters combat. Equipping two items activates the Resonant Plating perk, which forces your health bar to instantly start refilling the second a major enemy punches you. If you commit to four pieces, you unlock Siphoning Touch. This turns your standard melee and Glaive strikes into a stacking buff that you can cash in for a massive heal simply by changing weapons.
