Diablo 4 Season 14 Guide: How to Farm Pandemonium Ruptures

Sanctuary has a fresh set of problems to deal with in Season 14.

Diablo 4 gameplay featuring a Necromancer using blood magic against a large red demon and multiple minions in a dark dungeon.

The Ullo Sar cult is busy conducting rituals across the map, and shutting them down is the fastest way to get your hands on new gear. Pandemonium Ruptures are the latest open world activity to grind, feeding directly into the Glints of Hope progression system. You get experience, caches, and a ticket to solo mini dungeons if you know exactly what to look for. Before you waste hours waiting around for the wrong event to spawn, I am going to show you how to crack these ruptures open efficiently.

Triggering the Rituals

You need to look for three devotees huddled around a massive skull on the ground.

Taking down all three cultists triggers the actual rupture. A large circle will form on the ground around the skull. Your only job here is to stay completely inside that boundary while slaughtering the Risen enemies pouring out. Kills outside the ring do absolutely nothing for your Glints of Hope progress. Positioning is everything, so try not to kite mobs out of bounds. Keeping the carnage contained inside the circle pushes your rank up, handing you experience tomes and gear caches along the way.

Pandemonium Rupture Tiers Explained

Rupture difficulties vary wildly, and you need to prioritize the right ones to maximize your time.

There are three distinct difficulty tiers, dictating where they spawn, when they appear, and the density of enemies you face. If you just want to learn the mechanics, the Normal tier is perfectly fine. If you want a serious challenge and guaranteed access to a Realmwalker, you need to head straight to Zarbinzet.

Rupture Tier Spawn Condition Realmwalker Spawn Details
Normal Anywhere on the map, any time Possible Best for learning the mechanic
Surging Only active during Helltide Possible Higher enemy density
Colossal World boss arena in Zarbinzet (Fields of Desecration) Guaranteed 10 minute wait between rounds

Hunting Realmwalkers and Deathtoll Chambers

The Colossal tier is my primary farming target because it guarantees a Realmwalker spawn.

Realmwalkers are massive elite enemies that hit significantly harder than the standard Risen trash mobs clogging up the circle. Defeating one drops a solid chunk of loot and immediately tears open a Deathtoll Chamber.

Running the Deathtoll Chamber

Before you try to drag a group into the portal, know that Deathtoll Chambers are strictly solo affairs. You can have help taking down the Realmwalker outside, but once you cross that threshold, you are completely on your own. You spawn into a tight mini dungeon packed with enemies. Clear the room, wipe the floor with whatever gets in your way, and collect the final reward chest at the end.

Running Colossal Ruptures over and over is my preferred way to gear up right now. There is a mandatory 10 minute cooldown between spawns at the Zarbinzet arena. I recommend planning your farming routes around that downtime so you aren't just standing idle in the mud. The sheer volume of loot you get from stacking the Glints of Hope rewards, the Realmwalker drop, and the Deathtoll Chamber finish makes the wait completely worth it.
