EA Sports College Football 27 Soundtrack Guide: Mute The Songs You Hate
Before you waste an hour watching a stream for absolutely zero reward, you need to make sure your digital paperwork is actually sorted out.
College Football 27 fully leans into the spectacle of the stadium marching band, converting massive pop hits into brass-heavy anthems. It definitely gives the menus a fantastic sense of atmosphere, but hearing the exact same tuba cover of a Fetty Wap song for the fiftieth time will eventually break your sanity. Before you completely mute your television and play in total silence, I am going to show you how to actually take control of the in-game music player. I also put together the complete list of every single cover song and original fight track so you know exactly what is blaring through your speakers.
How To Take Control Of Your Playlist
Before you waste an hour digging through the main settings menu looking for a standard audio toggle, you need to know that the music controls are mapped directly to your controller sticks.
To pull up the active soundtrack list, just press and hold down L3. Clicking in that left analog stick on either Xbox or PlayStation slides the full music menu onto the right side of your screen. Once that menu is open, you can press Square or X to pause the current track. Hitting L2 or LT skips backward, while R2 or RT jumps to the next song. If a specific track is driving you up the wall, simply highlight it and press X or A to permanently deselect it from your rotation.
If you actually want to hear these marching bands while you are running plays on the field, press the Options or Menu button on your controller, then hold R3 while inside the music menu to toggle the 'Music Always On' feature.
The Complete Pop And Rock Cover Tracklist
EA brought back the marching band covers in full force this year, converting twenty massive radio hits into stadium-ready brass arrangements.
I organized the entire list of mainstream covers below so you can see exactly which original artists got the marching band treatment.
Fight Songs And Original Tracks
If twenty pop covers somehow aren't enough to satisfy your craving for heavy percussion and brass, EA packed the rest of the soundtrack with traditional collegiate fight songs and completely original compositions.
You can find all of the remaining tracks heavily rotating through your menus below. If your favorite team's anthem is missing from the list, they might just be saving it for a stadium entrance sequence instead of dumping it into the main menu mix.
