When is the Next Fortnite Power Hour? Schedule and Modifiers

You have a very narrow window to farm the best buffs in Chapter 7 Season 3, so missing the next Fortnite Power Hour is simply not an option.

Epic Games loves to introduce new Sprites for you to collect and master, but tracking down the specific ones you need can feel like a massive chore. To make things easier, they run a recurring Power Hour event every single week. Before you waste hours trying to farm specific items in standard matches, you need to mark your calendar for these events. The upcoming session is called the Gold and Gummy Hours. If you are struggling to upgrade your Sprite outside of these designated event windows, you should probably check out my guide on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Mending Machines to stock up on Quack Snacks instead.

The Next Power Hour Schedule

Thanks to a schedule overhaul earlier this season, Power Hours now last for a full two hours instead of just one.

This gives you significantly more time to engage with the event mechanics and secure your preferred loadout. As spotted by the folks at Beebom, the upcoming Gold and Gummy Hours event kicks off on July 4, 2026. The timings remain exactly the same as previous weeks, just with new featured items.

Gold and Gummy Hours Modifiers

Epic always switches up which Sprites are promoted during a Power Hour, and they usually throw in a few chaotic gameplay modifiers just to keep you on your toes.

For this specific event, you are getting exactly what the name promises. You will find Gold and Gummy Sprites spawning far more frequently across the map. The actual combat loop is going to get completely derailed by the addition of the Mythic Goldfish. You get some ridiculous starting items right out of the gate, so expect immediate chaos the second you land. Here is everything that changes during the event.

Modifier Type Gameplay Change
Spawn Rates Gold Sprites and Gummy Sprites will spawn much more frequently.
Starting Loadout You automatically drop into the match holding a Mythic Goldfish and a Self-Revive Device.
Mythic Goldfish Effects Hitting an opponent launches them into the air. Eliminating an opponent with it drops a massive amount of Gold Bars.
Campfire Buffs You will earn Sprite level-ups much faster while using Campfires.
