When is the Next Fortnite Power Hour?: How to Farm Holofoil Sprites

You have a very narrow window to farm the best buffs in Chapter 7 Season 3, so missing the next Fortnite Power Hour is simply not an option.

Epic Games loves to introduce new Sprites for you to collect and master, but tracking down the specific ones you need can feel like a massive chore. To make things easier, they run a recurring Power Hour event every single week. Before you waste hours trying to farm specific items in standard matches, you need to mark your calendar for these events. The upcoming session is called the Holofoil Hours. If you are struggling to upgrade your Sprite outside of these designated event windows, you can check out my other guide on Mending Machines to stock up on Quack Snacks instead.

The Next Power Hour Schedule

Thanks to a schedule overhaul earlier this season, Power Hours now last for a full two hours instead of just one.

This gives you significantly more time to engage with the event mechanics and secure your preferred loadout. The upcoming Holofoil Hours event kicks off on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The timings remain exactly the same as previous weeks, just with new featured items. You get two separate blocks of time to jump in and hunt down these rare variants.

Here is the exact schedule for every major region so you don't miss a single minute of the action.

Holofoil Hours Modifiers

Epic always switches up which Sprites are promoted during a Power Hour, and they usually throw in a few chaotic gameplay modifiers just to keep you on your toes.

For this specific event, you are getting exactly what the name promises. You'll find Holofoil Sprites spawning far more frequently across the island. These variants come in a unique color and carry an additional ability that boosts your chances of finding rare Sprite Variants from chests by 5%. If you combine that inherent passive with the massive drop rate boost during the event window, you'll walk away with a massive collection of rare Sprites.

The actual combat loop is going to get pretty wild thanks to some specialized item updates. You get some ridiculous starting mechanics right out of the gate, so expect immediate chaos the second you land.

Here is everything that changes during the event.

Modifier Type Gameplay Change
Spawn Rates Holofoil Sprites spawn much more frequently in standard Chests and specialized Sprite Chests.
Starting Loadout You automatically drop into the match holding a Self-Revive Device and carrying the active Shock Rock effect.
Shock Rock Buffs Your maximum jump height is increased while affected, and physical Shock Rocks drop much more frequently across the map.
