Male V Coming to Fortnite in Cyberpunk Wave 3, Leak Claims
A new leak claims Male V is finally joining Fortnite's Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration, two waves after Epic left him out.
The leak
Sam Leakss posted the breakdown: a Male V skin, the HJSH-18 Masamune assault rifle, the TKI-20 Shingen with a pair of dual SMGs, and a Porsche 911 Turbo that may or may not belong to the same wave. All of it lands with Override, the season starting August 20 and running through November 5.
Two waves without him
Wave one added Female V and Johnny Silverhand during Winterfest, December 23, 2024. Male V wasn't part of it, and Epic caught real backlash over the omission at the time. Wave two arrived in May 2026 with Adam Smasher, after slipping past its originally leaked March date. Male V still wasn't in it. If this leak holds, it takes three separate waves and roughly a year and a half to get both halves of Cyberpunk's protagonist into the game.
Epic's done this before. The AC Valhalla collab in 2022 added Eivor as a woman only, no male variant, same pattern.
The wave itself
The Masamune and the Shingen are Cyberpunk's signature rifle and SMG, which tracks with how the first two waves handled weapons, Silverhand's Malorian pistol in wave one, Smasher's arm cannon in wave two. The Porsche doesn't fit the same mold. Nothing ties it to Night City directly, and it reads more like a separate vehicle drop that happened to leak in the same post.
