Marvel Rivals: How to Get the Free Ultron Skin (Age of Ultron Rewards)
Marvel Rivals followed up Loki's 1v6 duel with a full squad fight against Ultron's drone army, and there's a free skin waiting on the other side of it.
What you actually need to do for the skin
If you've been heads-down in Ranked and haven't so much as glanced at the event tab, you haven't missed anything worth stressing over. Getting the skin comes down to two runs: clear Normal once, then clear Hard once, and that's the whole job. Each run takes somewhere around 20 to 30 minutes, so you're talking under an hour of playtime for a cosmetic that costs nothing. You've got until August 27, 2026 to get it done, so there's no reason to rush through it tonight.
For context, the last Path to Doomsday event was Loki's 1v6 mode, one player against a full team of Avengers. This one flips that on its head. You're the team now, working together against Ultron's drones instead of against each other.
That Hard clear also hands you the Path to Peace Ultron MVP animation in the same run, so you walk away with two rewards for one difficulty spike. The skin itself sits below Legendary rarity. I don't think that matters much when the price tag reads zero.
If you want the whole list, not just the skin
Going for the full reward list is a bigger ask. Budget somewhere around four to five hours total, spread across the month however you want. I've burned more time than that on modes I ended up abandoning halfway through, so this one's a pretty light lift by comparison.
Most of that time goes toward Hard difficulty, since that's where nearly everything worth having actually lives. If Ultron himself is the part slowing you down rather than the grind, the boss fight guide walks through both phases in detail.

Clear Normal difficulty for the first time: 200 Units and an Avengers: Age of Ultron Gallery Card

Clear 10 waves: Breaking the Strings Ultron Emote
Purchase 15 upgrades: Avengers: Age of Ultron Nameplate
Clear Hard as Hulk: Steel Smasher Title
Clear Hard as Captain America: Proof of Humanity Title
Clear Hard as Thor: Spark of Life Title
Clear Hard as Hawkeye: Unerring Aim Title
Clear Hard as Black Widow: Lethal Shadow Title
Clear Hard as Iron Man: Unmaker of Ultron Title
Clear Hard as Scarlet Witch: Core Crusher Title
That's twelve challenges total. The wave count and the upgrade purchases tend to happen naturally across multiple runs, so consider those two free wins you'll rack up without really trying.
Chasing every character title
If you want every title, the character-specific Hard clears are where the real time goes. There are seven of them, one for each hero: Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Man, and Scarlet Witch. The Hard clear you already ran for the skin counts toward whichever hero you used, so getting every title comes out to one Normal run plus seven Hard runs total.
This is honestly a good excuse to play heroes you'd normally skip. Otherwise just pick whoever you already like and start there. I'll probably rotate through mine in whatever order keeps me from staring at the same kit for three runs straight.
What's coming next in Path to Doomsday
Age of Ultron is the second chapter in the Path to Doomsday series, and the next one is expected to follow the Avengers: Infinity War storyline, which raises the obvious question of whether Thanos shows up at some point. I'm mostly just hoping we get some kind of tease before the season wraps. Season 10 is also on the way and shaping up to be a big update in its own right, so there's no shortage of reasons to stick around once this event closes.
