Neverness To Everness Beginner Guide: Surviving Hethereau (Copy)

Before you complain about being broke and underleveled, you need to stop ignoring the dozens of lucrative side hustles scattered across Hethereau.

I constantly see people hitting artificial progression walls because they refuse to step off the main path. If you are strictly blasting through the campaign, you are going to hit a severe Hunter Level bottleneck. Side quests, or Spinoffs as the game classifies them, are your primary method for injecting your account with raw Hunter EXP, Annulith, and Beetle Coins. The city is massive, and keeping track of every single distressed citizen and weird anomaly is an absolute nightmare. I compiled this master ledger of every known side quest in the game to help you clear your backlog. Keep in mind that this is a living document. I will be continuously updating this list as I progress further into the game.

Exposing the Map Markers

To actually see these jobs, you have to do some initial legwork. You cannot just wander blindly through the alleys and hope to stumble into a payday.

You need to unlock the map region by locating and activating the local Wertheimer Tower. Once the fog clears off your map, you can open it up and look for the light blue quest markers. These markers indicate an active Spinoff is waiting for you. Simply plot a route to the marker, speak with the quest giver, and knock out the objective.

The Master Quest Ledger

I broke down every single side quest currently available, exactly where you need to go to trigger it, and the payout you can expect upon completion. If you are struggling to survive the combat encounters tied to these anomalies, make sure you reference my Neverness To Everness Beginner Guide to ensure your Esper Cycle is optimized before you pick a fight.
