Saber Interactive's Next Game Is Reportedly Called "Stimulator," A and No, It's Not a Typo

A leak points to Saber Interactive working on a rideshare driving game, and the name is apparently exactly what it sounds like.

What's Actually Being Claimed

A post from a leaker going by Intercelluar describes a new driving game from Saber Interactive under the working title "Rideshare Stimulator." The pitch, straight from the leak, is that it's "sort of like an uber simulator." Nothing about tone, setting, or what a shift actually looks like has surfaced yet. Just the concept and the name, which is doing a lot of the talking on its own.

Platform details are thinner still. Someone asked directly whether it's coming to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and Intercelluar's response was a simple "think so." Which is clearly just a guess from the person closest to the leak, so treat it as a lean rather than a lock until Saber says anything official.

What Is Up With That Name

Calling it "Stimulator" instead of "Simulator" is definitely a choice. I honestly have no idea why Saber decided to go with a title that sounds like a late-night infomercial product. But hey, in a genre that usually takes its tire pressure and gear ratios entirely too seriously, slapping a bizarre pun right on the box is a fantastic attention grabber. Whether the game itself actually leans into that joke or Saber just wanted a fast way to get clicks, it absolutely worked. (Or I’m just easily entertained)

The Saber Angle

Saber Interactive doesn't have a single lane. Its output ranges across horror, licensed tie-ins, and small-scale sim style projects, and a fair number of those titles get made cheap enough to turn a profit without needing to be a system seller. A rideshare simulator fits comfortably into that pattern. It's a low-risk premise with an obvious hook, the kind of thing that could do fine on personality and a good trailer alone, assuming the driving and the writing can carry a joke past the title screen.

None of this is confirmed by Saber itself yet, so everything here rides on one leak and one vague reply about platforms. Worth keeping an eye on, not worth planning your driveway simulator marathon around just yet.
