007 First Light Guide: All Safe and Door Codes

Spending twenty minutes looking for a sticky note completely ruins the fantasy of being an elite super spy.

James Bond has access to the most advanced technology on the planet, but a standard keypad is still his ultimate enemy. Throughout your campaign, you will encounter seven locked doors and safes that require a specific four digit code. If you try to do this legitimately, you have to read random documents, examine wine bottles, and do basic math. Luckily, none of the codes in this game are randomized. They are the exact same for everyone. If you want to clear out your playing card checklist and grab every hidden memento without getting bogged down by locked doors, you can just punch in the answers below and move on.

The Complete Code Cheat Sheet

I put together a quick reference table featuring every code in the game so you do not have to scroll through paragraphs of text while you are actively being shot at.

Mission Locked Object The Code
All the Time in the World Laundry Room Door 1805
All the Time in the World Hotel Manager's Safe 1952
Uninvited Maintenance Room Door 3256
Knightfall Webb's Office Safe 1493
Man of the Hour Q-Lab Armory Door 1324
Man of the Hour Stress Test Chamber Safe 4397
Wave of the Future Archive Door 1864

How to Find the Clues and Unlock Challenges

If you actually want to know how I cracked these codes, or if you are trying to complete specific in game challenges tied to opening them, here is the exact breakdown for every location.

All the Time in the World

You have two codes to track down in the hotel. The code for the Laundry Room is 1805, which you can technically find written on a note sitting on the Hotel Manager's desk. Since you are already in the office, look for a safe behind the reception area. Read the vintage year on the middle wine bottle to get the code 1952. Cracking this safe on your own unlocks the Wine Connoisseur challenge.

Uninvited

While trying to escape the Courtyard, head to the back right room to find the Dining Room. You will spot the locked Maintenance Room door here. The password is 3256, which you would normally have to find on a laptop in the nearby Library. Opening this door triggers the Closed for Maintenance challenge and gives you a much better escape route. If things go loud while you are running around, check out my complete stealth guide to regain control of the situation.

Knightfall

Opening the safe in Webb's office is a mandatory main objective. To get the code 1493, you have to look around the room and count the numbers associated with his College Diploma, the Basilisk Painting, a video game, and a scale model. Getting the code right on your first try earns you the Crackerjacker challenge. If you intentionally type the code wrong seven times in a row, the game insults you and hands you the Epic Fail challenge.

Man of the Hour

While sneaking around Q-Lab stealing field equipment, you will find the Armory door locked tight. The code is 1324, which is just Waters' high score at the shooting range. Later in the mission, you get locked in the Stress Test Chamber with a Range Rover sitting in a blast furnace. The code for the nearby display cabinet is 4397, which matches the last four digits on the vehicle's license plate. Finding just a handful of batteries inside a high security Q-Lab safe is incredibly insulting, but you will need the power if you follow my essential tips and tricks for heavy gadget usage.

Wave of the Future

You need to open the Archive door to upgrade your ID bracelet. The code is 1864. You can find this out the hard way by stealing a key from the Legal Department, sneaking into the lower floor office, and opening a different safe just to find the password. Alternatively, you can solve a math puzzle in the Lockers to get the same number. Skipping all of that and just typing 1864 immediately triggers the Attention to Detail, Surrender, and Snoop Around challenges all at once.
