007 First Light Guide: How to Steal ID Bracelets for Bond and Isola
Walking through the front door of a high-security facility is a lot easier when you take the time to steal the right wristwear.
Getting to the cable car in the Wave of the Future mission requires a bit of finesse. You need disguises for both you and Isola, which means tracking down two specific ID Bracelets. Before you waste half an hour wandering the halls and accidentally blowing your cover, I can walk you through the exact steps to grab both items and secure the Knock Knock Challenge along the way. Also, if you want to make sure Bond looks sharp while committing casual identity theft, grab some gear from the 007 First Light Twitch drops guide.
Lifting Isola's ID Bracelet
After your initial chat with Isola, head up the stairs into the lobby and take your very first left. You'll find the Lounge. Inside, there's a woman passed out in a chair. She has the first ID Bracelet on her, but you have a slight problem. Two fully alert NPCs are actively patrolling the room.
Don't just walk up and try to take it. Each corner of the Lounge holds either a laptop or a tablet. Use your Q-Watch to remotely hack these devices one at a time. The moment both NPCs turn their backs to investigate the noise, sprint in and pickpocket the sleeping woman. Grab the bracelet and get out before they resume their patrols.
Grabbing Bond's ID and the Knock Knock Challenge
This second bracelet takes a bit more legwork, but it ends with you kicking a door into a guy's face (which is always a nice bonus).
Stalking the HR Manager
Head past the reception desk. Outside the restroom, you'll spot the HR Manager having a chat. Eavesdrop on him until he shuts up, then hack his phone with your Q-Watch. Follow him as he walks outside toward the helipad. The hack will inevitably fail halfway through, forcing you to steal the phone manually.
Creating a Distraction
Once you're outside near the helicopter, look for a bench and grab the lighter sitting on it. Turn around and head back to the reception area. Stick to the left side and vault over the surface to drop into some tall grass. Creep along the grass to the left until you find a trash can. Use the lighter to set the trash on fire.
The Phone Swipe
The fire naturally draws the HR Manager over to investigate, but a nearby woman is staring right at him. If you try to pickpocket him now, she'll catch you immediately. Hack the laptop on the right side of the area with your Q-Watch to pull her attention away. With both of them fully distracted, pickpocket the HR Manager's phone. The intel reveals your actual target, Somerset, is hiding out in the restroom to the right.
The Knock Knock Challenge
Walk over to the restroom and interact with the closed door to talk to Somerset. It absolutely doesn't matter what dialogue option you pick here. You just need to trigger the conversation. Once he starts talking, walk up to the door and press Square (or X on Xbox) to kick it wide open. The door smashes into Somerset, knocking him out cold. Loot his body for Bond's ID Bracelet, and the game will instantly pop the Knock Knock Challenge for your trouble.
With both bracelets secured, you're completely clear to head to the cable car. If you want to bypass even more tedious lock-picking during your playthrough, check out my 007 First Light safe codes guide because honestly, nobody has time to hunt for combinations when there's spy work to do.
