007 First Light Guide: How to Bypass the Sensors and Open a Path for Greenway
Getting past the Webb Industries security grid requires less tactical espionage and more weaponized janitorial equipment.
During the Knightfall mission, you and Greenway infiltrate Webb Industries, but your progress grinds to a halt on the office floor. You are staring down a hallway covered in floor sensors, and Bond cannot simply kick the doors open this time. The game vaguely tells you to "open a path for Greenway," which leaves you wandering around a corporate office looking for a switch. Before you waste half an hour trying to jump over lasers and triggering alarms, I will show you the exact route you need to take. Finding the Vent Access
Your first goal is getting off the main hallway and into the walls.
Look to your right. You will see a stack of boxes completely blocking a side path. Grab the rightmost box and drag it out of the way. This exposes a small ventilation grate. Squeeze through the opening and take the left path inside the ductwork. This dumps you straight into Isola Vale's office. You are officially behind the first layer of locked doors, but you still need a way to clear the main path.
The Line of Sight Hack
This is the step that trips up most people because the hacking mechanics are incredibly strict in this specific room.
Carefully step out of Isola Vale's office back into the main hall. You are now standing directly between two active floor sensors. Do not touch them. Look to your right at the office labeled "De Broglie" meeting room. To get inside, you need to use your Q-Watch on the door sensor. The catch is that you need a direct line of sight to the interior sensor, and the game is picky about angles. Look through the glass where the blinds are raised to get a clean visual on the hackable controller. Once it highlights, trigger your Q-Watch.
Summoning the Robot
With the De Broglie room unlocked, you need to actually reach it without stepping on the lasers.
Turn around and head back into the vent you just came from. Crawl back inside, but this time take the left turn so you exit into Damien Webb's office. Leave his office through the main door, turn left in the hallway, and walk right into the De Broglie meeting room you just hacked open.
Inside the meeting room, look for a large interactive tablet on the wall or table. Access the panel and request a room cleaning. This summons a robotic vacuum cleaner. To let the little machine do its job, the main hallway doors automatically slide open.
Walk through the newly opened doors to the other side of the hall. Here you will find the main security panel. Simply flip the switch to disable the sensor security grid entirely. Greenway can now follow you safely, and your path to the Perch is wide open.
