ARC Raiders High-Gain Antenna Project: Farming The Flashpoint Update

Embark decided to celebrate the Flashpoint Update by forcing us to grind some of the most frustrating new enemies in the game.

A retro-futuristic computer terminal with a glowing green radar screen and mechanical keyboard in a cluttered, industrial workshop from Arc Raiders.

The High-Gain Antenna Project is a massive resource sink designed to drain your inventory of rare materials. The payoff, however, is absolutely worth the grind. Completing the entire project rewards you with a massive payout of 500 Raider Tokens, which you can immediately dump into the shop to secure one of the new sets (If you already have some Raider Tokens saved up that is).

If you are just casually running around the map looting basic grunts, you are never going to finish this. The project is split into three distinct stages, and the later stages demand highly specific, Epic-tier drops from the new ARC Operations map conditions. If you are also trying to track down the new weapons introduced in this update, you can multitask by keeping my ARC Raiders Canto SMG Blueprint Guide open while you farm these materials.

Here is exactly where to find every piece of scrap required to build the antenna.

Stage 1: The Sturdy Base

You can access this project by opening the Raiders tab at the top of your screen and navigating to the Projects menu.

The first stage is relatively painless. You do not need to hunt down any hyper-specific bosses yet. You are mostly just gathering uncommon and rare scrap that drops from standard ARC enemies and basic world events.

Sturdy Base Materials

The basic scrap required to kick off the project.

Resource Where To Farm
50 ARC Alloy Drops from almost all ARC enemies, Probes, and Couriers.
10 ARC Flex Rubber Drops from Medium ARC enemies, Bastions, Bombardiers, Probes, and Couriers.
10 ARC Performance Steel Drops from Bastions, Bombardiers, Rocketeers, Probes, and Couriers.
15 Advanced ARC Powercell Focus on larger targets like Surveyors, Bombardiers, and Bastions.

The most efficient way to clear this stage is to actively hunt Bastions and Bombardiers. They share a loot pool that drops Flex Rubber, Performance Steel, and Powercells simultaneously.

You can also hunt down ARC Probes, but you need to be careful. Breaching a Probe makes a massive amount of noise. Since this is the start of a new update, the map is going to be swarming with PvP-hungry Raiders looking for an easy ambush. Keep your head on a swivel.

Stage 1 Completion Rewards: Torrente II, Extended Medium Mag III, Extended Barrel, and a Padded Stock.

Stage 2: The Data Logger

This is where the grind actually starts. Stage 2 forces you to interact with the new Close Scrutiny and Hurricane map conditions to secure Epic-tier components.

Data Logger Materials

You have to actively hunt the new enemies to secure these drops.

Resource Where To Farm
15 ARC Coolant Drops from Baron Husks, Probes, Couriers, and most standard ARC enemies.
15 ARC Thermo Lining Drops from Bastions, Bombardiers, Medium ARC enemies, Probes, and Couriers.
4 Vaporizer Regulators Drops strictly from Vaporizers, or Couriers during Hurricane/Close Scrutiny events.
6 Assessor Matrixes Looted directly from Assessors during the Close Scrutiny map condition.

You can passively gather the Coolant and Thermo Lining by continuing to hunt Bastions and Bombardiers, but the Regulators and Matrixes require a targeted approach.

To get the Vaporizer Regulators, you have to drop into the Close Scrutiny event and actively pick fights with Vaporizers. They are incredibly lethal. You need to shoot them in the belly to force them to deploy their shields and reposition. Once the shield drops and they start charging their lasers, hit them with a Wolfpack Grenade to finish them off. If you are struggling with this specific fight, I wrote a dedicated ARC Raiders: How To Beat The Vaporizer guide detailing their attack patterns.

To get the Assessor Matrixes, you have to loot Assessors during the Close Scrutiny event. The major problem here is that Assessors are heavily guarded by massive ARC Swarms. Bring Smoke Grenades and utilize a Photoelectric Cloak to stealth loot them, otherwise the swarm will tear you apart before the extraction ship arrives.

Stage 2 Completion Rewards: Bobcat III, Extended Light Mag III, Vertical Grip III, and 100 Raider Tokens.

Stage 3: The Parabolic Dish

The final stage is a brutal test of your RNG luck. You need massive quantities of Epic-tier materials, forcing you to grind the exact same events you just survived in Stage 2.

Parabolic Dish Materials

The final, highly lethal resource grind.

Resource Where To Farm
10 Surveyor Vaults Drops from Surveyors and Couriers.
20 ARC Synthetic Resin Drops from Baron Husks, Bastions, Bombardiers, Probes, and Couriers.
15 Vaporizer Regulators Drops strictly from Vaporizers, or Couriers during Hurricane/Close Scrutiny events.
18 Assessor Matrixes Looted directly from Assessors during the Close Scrutiny map condition.

You need a staggering 15 Vaporizer Regulators and 18 Assessor Matrixes to close this out. You already know the drill for these: wait for the Hurricane or Close Scrutiny events to roll on the map, pack your Wolfpack Grenades, and abuse your stealth cloaks.

The new bottleneck here is the Surveyor Vaults. These are frustratingly tied to pure RNG. You have to hunt down Surveyors, which can spawn on any map at any time, and just pray they drop the vault. You can occasionally get lucky and find a vault while looting a Courier, but you should not rely on that. Just keep killing Surveyors until the game finally gives you what you need.

Stage 3 Completion Rewards: Vita Spray, Photoelectric Cloak, Snap Hook, and 400 Raider Tokens.

Once you turn in the final batch of scrap, the project clears and you will have a combined total of 500 fresh Raider Tokens sitting in your inventory.
