Creature Kitchen: How To Feed Pants The Ghost

Feeding a literal pair of haunted trousers is the only thing standing between you and the credits.

If you have been following my Creature Kitchen All Creatures Guide, you know that most of your roommates are relatively easy to bribe with a sandwich or some spaghetti. Pants is different. He is the final entity you encounter, and his dietary requirements are locked behind a massive series of endgame gear checks.

A lot of players get stuck early on because the game baits you into thinking he wants a Blueberry Pie. I spent way too much time in front of the oven baking pies only for him to be disappointmented. Do not make my mistake. Pants does not want baked goods. He wants a very specific brand of cereal called Fortunate Gems.

How To Spawn Pants

Unlike the yard creatures, you do not have to solve a specific puzzle to get Pants to appear. He is a scripted nighttime visitor.

As you progress toward the end of the story, you will eventually hear a distinct knocking on your front door after the sun goes down. You must manually walk over and open the door to let him in. If you are the type of player who leaves the door wide open at all times, he will simply float inside on his own and take a seat at your kitchen table.

The Fortunate Gems Recipe

You cannot just hand him a box of dry cereal. You have to prepare a proper bowl. This requires four distinct items that you have likely seen locked away throughout the entire game. Component	Where To Find It
Cereal Box	Located in the cabinet at the very end of the hallway.
Milk	Inside the fridge (requires befriending Corrin the Crow first).
Bowl	Inside the bowl cabinet (requires befriending Gerald the Octopus first).
Spoon	Found in the same drawer as the bowls.

Combine all four items in the kitchen to create the Fortunate Gems dish. Once the bowl is ready, place it directly on the table in front of Pants.

Triggering The Ending

After Pants finishes his breakfast, he will stand up and exit the house. You need to follow him outside. He will lead you to a specific spot on the property and stand next to a letter.

Interacting with this letter triggers the final sequence of the game: a campfire celebration with every creature you have befriended. To secure the final 100 percent completion mark, you must physically walk over and sit down next to Pants by the fire. This will unlock the Backyard Bonanza achievement and officially end the game.
