Crimson Desert Boss Guide: The Complete 75-Target Hit List

Tracking down seventy five massive targets across a hostile continent is a logistical nightmare, but somebody had to map it all out.

I genuinely respect the sheer, uncompromising scale of this game. You are not just fighting a handful of scripted villains in a linear corridor. You are wandering into an absolutely massive open world packed with political factions, ancient deities, and giant mechanical monstrosities that want to flatten you. Filling out the Knowledge tab in your journal requires you to exhaust every single Main Quest, dig deep into Faction Quests, and poke your head into ruins you should probably ignore.

There are a few secret encounters out there that stay completely off the books. You will cross paths with Goyen and Master Du naturally, but they refuse to show up in your official tracker. For the sake of your sanity and your completionist run, I am focusing strictly on the seventy five recognized bosses that actually populate your journal.

I divided my hit list by region. Prepare to do a lot of running.

The Hernand Territory

Hernand is thick with political squabbles and aggressive local wildlife. You are going to spend a lot of time doing the heavy lifting for House Celeste and House Roberts here. Some of these targets are deeply embedded in faction storylines, so do not expect to just stumble into Fort Hellwood and find Hemon Beindel waiting for you. You need to progress the associated questlines to pull them out of hiding.

Hernand Region Targets

A massive list of political hits and overgrown monsters.

Marni's Excavatron Located in Karin Quarry. You trigger this via the Stolen Quarry quest for House Roberts.
Saigord, the Staglord Found at Icemoor Castle Ruins during The Broken Trail quest for House Serkis.
Queen Spider Lurking in Arboria Castle. Tied to the Queen's Nest quest from House Celeste.
Cubewalker Lithus Southern Quarry. Locked behind the Stone Giant quest for House Felix.
Runewalker Vordis Lake Kharonso. Part of the Destroyed Barrier Stone of the Lake quest via the Kharonso Troll Alliance.
The Crimson Nightmare Fort Perwin. Initiated by The Crimson Nightmare quest for House Roberts.
Giath Drakesfall Castle. Triggered by the Bloodied Sword quest from House Celeste.
Sizlek the Insatiable Ruined Chapel. Play through the Bloodied Sanctum quest for the Hernandian Parish of Solumen.
Sir Catfish Vellua. Hunt him down during the Shadows in the Mist quest for the Vellua Fishermen's Guild.
Hemon Beindel Fort Hellwood. Found via the Town on the Cliff quest for the Hernandian Parish of Solumen.
Gwen Kraber The Eldertree. Locked to The Eldertree quest from House Celeste.
Cassius Morten City of Calphade. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 6.
Reed Devil Mountain of Frozen Souls. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 3.
Kearush the Slayer Hernand Castle. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 5.
Kailok, the Hornsplitter Goldleaf Guildhouse. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 2.
Walter Lanford Fort Warspike. Found via the Leader of the Bleed Bandits quest for House Serkis.

Pailune is a miserable place full of snow, ice, and giant bears that will rip your face off if you are not paying attention. The Pailune Militia has you doing a ton of animal control in this sector. Pack your winter gear and be ready for a lot of heavy, brutal melee fights.

Mostly giant animals and massive siege engines.

Mudwalker Lutemir Swamp of Despair. Locked to the Concern of the Tannery quest for the Longleaf Tribe.
Bloodwalker Crussis Silverwolf Mountain. Found via the Hunting Red quest for the Pailune Militia.
White Bearclaw Vat'nholl Fortress. Tied to the Shadows of Beasts quest for the Pailune Militia.
White Bear of the High Mountains Fort Askelund. Follow The Unending Threat of the Black Bears quest from the Pailune Militia.
Tarandus the Ashen Odeck. Triggered by The Black Bears and the Red Smoke quest for the Odeck Tribe.
Myurdin Ashclaw Keep. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 7.
Ludvig Pailune Castle. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 7.
Titan Windsong Peaks. Play through the Ancient Barrier quest for the Stjar Clan.
Black Bear Siege Engine Calphade Territory. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 6.
Moren, the Mistwood Hunter Wayward Woods. Triggered by The Sport Hunter quest from the Longleaf Tribe.

Demeniss is easily my favorite area visually, but it is an absolute nightmare to survive in. You are dealing with a lot of twisted knights, dark magic, and clockwork horrors. The main campaign forces you through a huge chunk of these bosses during Chapter Eight, so you will naturally clear out a large portion of this list just by playing the story.

The Raging Tempest Demeniss Port. Triggered via the Gust Striking the Pot quest for the Silvermoon Trade Collective.
Mazuul, the Dark Justiciar Burnhand Quarry. Find him during the One Step Ahead quest for House Byron.
Fortain, the Cursed Knight Thornbriar Fortress. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 8.

Balthazar, the Wyvernflame Fort Windridge. Track him down via The Wyvernflames quest for the Ironwheel of Dewhaven.
Mechanicus Marni's Steel Armory. Play through the Plating Debris quest for the Society of Progress.
Ironwing REN-X The Great Ocean of Pywel. Found during the Wings across the Sky quest for the Delesyian Aerial Force.

Samara, the Sandwatcher Izvatu Fortress. Follow The Dusksongs quest for the Lords of Unclaimed Lands.
Merrick, the Knight of Fortune Crimson Mountains Fortress. Tied to The Crimson Desert's Knight of Fortune quest for the Lords of Unclaimed Lands.
Gristle, the Sandfang Marauder Howlsands Camp. Hunt him via the Bandits Riding Wolves quest for the Redwing Merchant Guild.
Ogre Desolate Megalith Altar. Tracked via The Ogre of the Altar quest for the Lords of Unclaimed Lands.
Ravok of the Savage Fangs Bordig Camp. Triggered by the Master of the Wetlands quest from the Lords of Unclaimed Lands.

This section represents the broader, overarching threats that span across multiple zones and dive deep into the dimensional Abyss. You are going to be fighting literal avatars and ancient entities here as the main story wraps up. Holy shit, the Chapter Twelve gauntlet is exhausting.

Continent of Pywel Targets

The endgame hits hard with ancient magic and abyssal horrors.

Corrupted Caliburn Dimensional Bonds in the Abyss. Encountered naturally during Main Quest Chapter 12.

These three targets represent the absolute peak of the game's difficulty curve. They are isolated in deep ruins and cloisters, waiting for anyone foolish enough to test their endgame builds. Treat these encounters with respect, or you will be spending hours jogging back from your last save point.
