Forza Horizon 6 Guide: The Autumn Festival Playlist Hub

The tropical summer vibes are officially clearing out to make room for a massive wave of classic Japanese tuning icons.

The launch window hype is still going strong, but the weekly grind waits for no one. As shared by community manager T10ManteoMax on the official forums, the Festival Playlist is transitioning into the Autumn season for the "Welcome to Japan" series. Hitting these milestones is the only way you can expand your garage with some highly exclusive cars that won't be hitting the standard Autoshow anytime soon.

If you're still recovering from the madness of launch week, don't worry. I tore through the upcoming reward metrics, challenge limits, and restriction lists so you don't have to guess what setup to build next.

Series 1 Progression and Milestone Rewards

The overarching monthly targets remain active across all four seasonal shifts, meaning your points from this week will feed right into the main prize pool. You need to keep an eye on the long game if you want to walk away with the rarest prototypes in the game.

The entire Series 1 reward track requires a grand total of 180 points across the month to fully complete. If you missed out on the opening week, you can still easily salvage your progression loop and unlock the main targets. I recorded the complete point breakdown for both the overall series and the specific Autumn rewards below.

Reward Tier Type Point Cost Vehicle Reward Unlock
Series 1 Milestone (Low) 60 Points 2008 Mazda Furai (Seasonal Exclusive)
Series 1 Milestone (High) 120 Points 2010 Nissan 370Z (Seasonal Exclusive)
Autumn Season Milestone (Low) 15 Points 1997 Nissan GT-R V-Spec (Seasonal Exclusive)
Autumn Season Milestone (High) 30 Points 1991 Honda CR-X SiR (Seasonal Exclusive)

Long-Term History Vaults

There is a new History tab hidden on the far left of the playlist menu. The game tracks your cumulative series points over the long haul to unlock extreme rarities like the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II. That specific car requires 500 total points. Since Series 1 only offers 180 points max, you can't get it this month, but you can continue stacking points in future updates to eventually secure it.

Car Pass and Cosmetic Bonuses

If you bought the Car Pass DLC, you'll get the 2024 Koenigsegg Gemera dropped straight into your inventory this Thursday for free. Additionally, simply playing during this launch series hooks you up with a unique "Day One" profile badge. Hitting these milestones also helps you check off the "Played-List" and "Historic Effort" Xbox achievements.

The King of the Road Weekly Challenge

This week's headline solo challenge centers entirely around an absolute legend of the drifting scene. You'll need to follow a strict four-step chapter sequence to score your 5 points and a quick 25,000 credits.

Before you jump into the first chapter, make sure you actually buy the vehicle from the Autoshow or win it from a wheelspin. You can't skip steps here, as the game won't track your progress if you try to do these out of order.

Chapter 1: Buy and Drive

The entire challenge requires you to own and sit behind the wheel of a bone-stock 1989 Nissan Silvia K's. Just pull it out of your garage and drive it down the street to trigger the next step.

Chapter 2: The Drift Trial

Take your Silvia over to any marked Drift Zone on the map. You need to slide through the flags and accumulate enough score to secure a 3-star rating. (If you're struggling to keep the car sideways, throw a basic drift differential and some high-pressure rear tires onto the setup).

Chapter 3: Road Race Victory

Head over to any standard sanctioned Road Race event on the map. You have to place first overall while driving the Silvia to unlock the final leg of the tour.

Chapter 4: Drag Strip Runs

Drive your Silvia over to the Festival Kilometer Drag Meet. You don't even have to win these matches, you literally just need to complete 2 full runs down the strip to finalize the challenge and claim your points.

Seasonal Championships and Open World Events

The meat of your point generation comes from the main event board. You have a mix of standard solo races, PR stunts, and specialized open world jobs to tackle before the weather shifts next Thursday.

Remember that Seasonal Championships require you to place first overall at the conclusion of a three-race series. You can run these solo against Unbeatable Drivatars, or team up with a crew in co-op. I listed every single active event, restrictions list, and individual prize drop below.

Event Name & Type Class & Car Restrictions Points & Rewards
Trail Mix (Dirt Champ) B Class / Modern Rally 5 PTS / 1993 Schuppan 962CR
Majestic Domestics (Road Champ) D Class / Eclectic Domestics 5 PTS / 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto

Highway Jump (Danger Sign) B Class / Made in Japan 2 PTS / Super Wheelspin
Forest Straight (Speed Zone) B Class / Made in Japan 2 PTS / Super Wheelspin

Tokyo City Food Delivery (Job) Complete a full career shift 3 PTS / 1997 Nissan Be-1
Touge Showdown (Mazda of the Mountain) Any Mazda Model 3 PTS / 2020 Lamborghini Huracan EVO
#TokyoTower (Photo Challenge) Base of Tokyo Tower 2 PTS / “Oooh…Shiny!” Chat Line
Minamino Region (Treasure Hunt) Follow the Photo Clue 3 PTS / Massive Credits Bounty

If you plan on fast traveling between these event gates to speed up your routing times, make sure you don't waste your cash on properties that don't help your wallet. Daily Challenges

If you're hunting for those last few points to cross the 30-point mark for the Honda CR-X, these quick tasks open up every morning. Each challenge goes live at 7:30 AM Pacific Time and stays open for a full seven days, letting you complete them even after the main season shifts. Hitting a daily goal nets you 1 point and 5,000 credits.

Thursday: Big in Japan

Kick off the autumn shift by winning any standard Cross Country Race while driving a car from the Sports Utility Hero vehicle class.

Friday: Pre-Loved

Head straight over to the global Auction House menu and purchase any aftermarket car listed by another driver to clear this milestone.

Saturday: In the Zone

Take your fastest hypercar out to the highway speed traps. You need to accumulate a combined total of 300 mph across any number of active Speed Zones on the map.

Sunday: Hang Time

Find a massive cliff face or a built-in ramp. You need to launch your vehicle off an official Danger Sign and land far enough to score a clean 3-star rating.

Monday: Link Skiller

Head into free roam and find another driver cruising around. Pull off a combined driving stunt right next to them to trigger and earn a single LINK Skill.

Tuesday: Drop the Beat

Get behind the wheel of the 1991 Honda Beat and look for a rough hill configuration. You need to catch enough air time over the crests to trigger an Awesome Air Skill.

Wednesday: Tokyo Drift

Take your favorite drift machine straight into Shibuya Crossing. You need to successfully chain together 3 separate Awesome Drift or Awesome E-Drift skills through the crowded intersection.

If you're struggling to secure enough cash to buy the eligible sports cars for these events, there's an incredibly broken loophole sitting in the custom game modes right now. You can exploit the system by checking out my Forza Horizon 6 infinite money exploit guide to farm millions of credits completely AFK using custom EventLab tracks before the developers patch it out for good.
