LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight All Suits Guide
Gotham is far too stylish for you to spend an entire playthrough wearing the exact same sweaty cape and cowl.
Unlocking the full wardrobe in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a massive undertaking. TT Games packed over 63 unique outfits into the base game alone. You will not get these by casually playing through the campaign. The developers locked the best cosmetics behind a massive wall of open-world tasks. You have to hunt down lost zoo animals, complete frustrating AR trials, solve an absurd amount of Riddler puzzles, and spend millions of studs at Bat-Mite's shop.
If you plan on collecting everything, prepare for a long grind. I compiled the exact unlock requirements for every single outfit below so you can target the ones you actually want to wear.
The Wardrobe Mechanics
Before you rip your hair out clicking every single computer terminal inside the Batcave looking for a wardrobe menu, you need to know how the customization system actually works.
You change your clothes on the fly while exploring the open world. You cannot do this while driving a vehicle, so step out onto the pavement first. Press the pause button and hit the right bumper to tab over to your Characters menu. From there, press the designated action button to open your Suit Options. Click on any outfit you have successfully unlocked and your character will instantly swap into it. It is entirely seamless and requires zero loading screens.
Bruce Wayne's Massive Closet
Batman hoards the vast majority of the cosmetic items in the game. His list covers everything from his earliest comic appearances to a ridiculous armored vampire design.
Robin
Dick Grayson requires you to beat down Waylon Jones and complete a massive chunk of the open-world AR trials to earn his top gear.
Batgirl
Barbara Gordon forces you to break open 80 separate WayneTech Caches if you want her full DC Bombshells aesthetic.
Nightwing
You have to open an absurd 110 WayneTech Caches to grab Nightwing's classic retro game suit.
Catwoman
Selina Kyle forces you to dismantle the local mafia infrastructure to access her animated series skin
Talia al Ghul
Talia demands the absolute highest investment in the game. You have to open 180 WayneTech Caches just to get her Bronze Age suit.
Premium and DLC Cosmetics
If you are willing to break out your real-world wallet or link external accounts, you can bypass the grind entirely for a select few premium skins. Some of these drop globally across your entire roster if you purchased the expensive game edition.
