Life Is Strange: Reunion Podcast Guide: Tuning Out The Noise
Earning the Podcast Overload achievement requires you to willingly listen to college students broadcast their unhinged opinions across campus.
Caledon University is packed to the brim with painfully opinionated young adults who genuinely believe the world needs to hear their inner monologue. Naturally, this means the campus is littered with flyers advertising various amateur audio shows. Tracking all of these down is a mandatory chore if you are hunting for full completion. You will need to find all nine specific locations and interact with the scattered flyers, business cards, and notice boards to actually trigger the audio.
The good news is that the game tracks this quite generously. If you realize you missed one of Loretta's rambling Abraxcast episodes, you do not need to replay the entire story. You can boot up Scene Select from the main menu, load into the specific chapter, find the flyer, let the audio play completely, and then back out. The progress will save immediately. If you are struggling with the rest of the collectible hunt, cross reference this list with my broader Life Is Strange: Reunion Trophy and Achievement Guide to make sure your virtual scavenger hunt is fully optimized.
The Caledon Audio Checklist
Before we start wandering aimlessly through courtyards and dimly lit college bars, it helps to know exactly what you are looking for. The developers did an excellent job of making these flyers blend seamlessly into the chaotic environmental clutter.
Early Semester Broadcasts
The opening hours of the game throw a lot of exposition at you. While you are trying to figure out the social dynamics of the campus, you also need to keep your eyes glued to the walls and furniture.
Time Dojo
You will take control of Max in the Everett building very early in the narrative. While making your way to meet Moses, you will walk past a large informational display about the Moon. Immediately after passing this display, look for an open doorway on your left with a standard Restrooms sign above it. Head through that opening and check the wall on your right. You will spot a bulletin board absolutely plastered with flyers for Loretta's podcast.
Class Act
This one is remarkably easy to spot if you know where to look. During the outdoor photography class in the main Caledon courtyard, you will start near a large statue. Once you have full control of Max, walk in a straight line forward from the class location. Look at the very first bench you encounter on your right side. There is a brightly colored flyer advertising an interview with Moses resting right on the wood.
Open Mic Night
This is the most frustrating collectible in the entire game because it is locked behind a specific dialogue puzzle. You are inside the bar watching Amanda's stand up routine. First, you have to help evict the heckler to ensure her set is successful. Once that plays out, your main objective updates, tasking you with speaking to Lucas.
Go talk to him, let the conversation play out, and then immediately use your rewind power. Speak to him a second time and select the new dialogue option asking about his novel. Doing this alters the flow of the room. When the conversation finally ends, turn completely around. You will see a group of three guys sitting around a small table chatting. Walk over to that table and look closely at the surface to find a tiny business card for Lucas's Vox Populi show. If you are struggling with the broader implications of messing with timelines in this bar, check out my Choices and Consequences Guide to avoid ruining your playthrough.
Cat and Max
After finishing up your business in Owen's office, you will end up back outside in the quad. You need to locate a very specific piece of modern art. Look for the fountain sculpture that resembles a massive game of Jenga, or navigate toward the patch of grass bordered by the giant brick wall. Just off to the right corner of that sculpture is a wooden picnic table. The flyer for Academia Now is sitting right on top.
Midterms and Meltdowns
As the narrative gets heavier, the locations become slightly more repetitive. The Snapping Turtle pub becomes your main hub for these audio logs, which saves a lot of aimless wandering.
Times in Turtle
This scene features perspective swapping. You start outside on the back decking as Max having a conversation with Safi. Once that dialogue concludes, the game shifts control over to Chloe inside the actual pub. Ignore the patrons for a moment and walk directly toward the main front door entrance. In the small foyer area by the door, there is a large pinboard. Look closely to find your next Abraxcast flyer.
Mabon
Navigating a crowded college party is bad enough. Doing it while your character is heavily intoxicated makes it completely miserable. You start this sequence at the Abraxis party as Max. You will eventually speak to Reggie, head outside, and then the game forces you to play as Chloe in the basement.
Once Chloe's section wraps up, you are back in control of a very drugged up Max outside the house. Your vision is blurry and movement is sluggish. You need to head back inside, but a group of Abraxis members are currently blocking the main steps. You have to awkwardly weave around the edge of the crowd until the path clears. Once they disperse, stumble up the steps onto the wooden decking. Walk past the first group of people and look for a picnic table. The flyer for the fictional Maxcast is resting there.
All Available Evidence
Following a rather tense section sitting in the observatory with Chloe, you will return to Moses's lab to dig through his things. The main floor is full of interactive objects, but you need to completely ignore them and head straight up the stairs. In the upper office area, look for a small, unassuming coffee table. Lucas left another advertisement for his Vox Populi podcast sitting right in the open.
The Final Broadcasts
The end of the game tasks you with wrapping up loose ends. Fortunately, the final two audio logs are located in areas you have already heavily explored.
Chloe's Decision
You are back inside the Snapping Turtle playing as Chloe. The moment you gain control of her, completely ignore your main objective. Turn around and walk back toward the main entrance foyer exactly like you did in the Times in Turtle scene. Look at the exact same pinboard near the front door. The previous flyer has been replaced with a new one advertising an interview with the band Chloe manages, Drugstore Makeup.
Memorial
The final scene is emotionally draining. You are playing as Max back at the Snapping Turtle, tasked with speaking to all the survivors. Before you initiate any of those heavy conversations, walk straight out the back doors onto the exterior decking. Keep walking down the wooden path all the way to the water where the jetty ends. There is a single green chair sitting near the edge of the dock. The final flyer for Loretta's Abraxcast is resting on the seat. Grab it, listen to the audio, and your achievement will finally pop.
