Scritchy Scratchy Guide: Max Luck Caps & Symbol Probabilities Explained

Chasing the digital jackpot is a hell of a lot easier when you actually understand the math behind your high.

Scritchy Scratchy is a dangerously satisfying progression casino built to hijack your reward center. But if you want to actually beat the house, you have to look under the hood.

Here is the trick. You upgrade your global luck stat, but every single ticket has a hard cap. Once your overall luck hits a ticket's ceiling, pumping more points into that stat does absolutely nothing for that specific card.

Just to be entirely clear on how to read the data below: the percentages are listed from the absolute lowest payout symbol on the left to the massive payout symbol on the right. When you hit a ticket's max luck cap, those top tier odds on the right completely skyrocket.

If you are entirely new to this digital degeneracy, read my Scritchy Scratchy Beginner's Guide first. Otherwise, let us look at the actual numbers.

Catalog 1: The Starter Addictions

These are your safe early game scratches. The caps are incredibly low. Hit Level 3 global luck, and Two Win gives you an 80 percent chance at the top prize. Do not grind your luck stat past Level 9 until you unlock better tickets.

Catalog 1 Probability Data

The foundational math for your early game gambling habit.

Ticket Name Max Luck & Symbol Chances
Two Win Cap: Level 3 Odds: 1% / 19% / 80%
Mini Scratch Cap: Level 4 Odds: 1% / 1% / 28% / 70%
Apple Tree Cap: Level 6 Odds: 5% / 5% / 5% / 5% / 30% / 30% / 20%
Quick Cash Cap: Level 7 Odds: 1% / 5% / 15% / 19% / 25% / 35%
Lucky Cat Cap: Level 9 Odds: 0.5% / 20% / 20% / 35% / 35% / 25%

The training wheels come off here. Snake Eyes is fascinating because its lowest tiers drop to fractions of a percent at max luck, while the high payout tier dominates at 90 percent. Catalog 2 Probability Data

The odds get slightly more punishing as the stakes rise.

Ticket Name Max Luck & Symbol Chances
Sand Dollars Cap: Level 12 Odds: 1% / 1% / 5% / 15% / 19% / 27% / 32%
Scratch My Back Cap: Level 14 Odds: 5% / 5% / 30% / 40% / 20%
Snake Eyes Cap: Level 16 Odds: 0.1% / 0.4% / 0.5% / 4% / 5% / 90%
The Bomb Cap: Level 18 Odds: 5% / 15% / 25% / 25% / 30%

Luck caps jump significantly here, requiring a serious global luck grind. If you cannot afford the upgrades to hit these caps and flip the odds in your favor, it is time to reset. I detail the exact math on when to wipe your save in my Scritchy Scratchy Prestige and Jackpot Points Guide.

Catalog 3 Probability Data

Heavy investments required for these mid to late game cards.

Ticket Name Max Luck & Symbol Chances
Bank Break Cap: Level 22 Odds: 1% / 1% / 5% / 8% / 50% / 35%
Xmas Countdown Cap: Level 25 Odds: 1% / 1% / 1% / 1% / 27% / 69%
Thrift Store Cap: Level 27 Odds: 6% / 6% / 33% / 33% / 22%
Berry Picking Cap: Level 29 Odds: 3% / 3% / 15% / 15% / 10% / 17% / 17% / 17%

This is absolute endgame territory. Maxing out Booster Pack takes Level 44 global luck. But hitting that cap on To The Moon gives you a whopping 69 percent chance at the absolute highest tier. Reference my Scritchy Scratchy 100% Achievement Guide so you do not miss any hidden objectives while grinding this out.
