WWE 2K26 Trophy Guide: Surviving the Platinum Grind
Earning all 63 trophies in this year's wrestling simulator is quite the undertaking, but at least Visual Concepts had the decency to not hide any of the objectives from us.
Chasing the Platinum trophy in a modern sports game is usually an exercise in pure frustration. Developers love tying achievements to broken online modes or random simulation logic. WWE 2K26 is definitely a marathon, clocking in at roughly 40 to 60 hours for a completionist run, but it is surprisingly straightforward. You can see every single objective from the moment you boot up the main menu.
If you are playing on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, you have a grand total of 63 trophies to hunt down. If you are stuck on last gen hardware, your list drops to 58 because the new mode called The Island is completely absent from those consoles.
Before you start tearing through the roster, I highly recommend tweaking your gameplay sliders. Several trophies require you to win specific matches on Legend difficulty. The game does not penalize you for adjusting the pin and submission mini game sliders in your favor. Make the settings work for you so you do not shatter your controller trying to escape a random headlock. Here is exactly how to efficiently clear the board mode by mode.
The CM Punk Showcase
Showcase mode is usually the best place to start your run. It familiarizes you with the core mechanics and knocks out a chunk of objectives in a tight two to three hour window.
The biggest trap here is the new Gauntlet option. The game allows you to fight 20 superstars back to back. Beating the Gauntlet unlocks all the cosmetic rewards and pops the "Best in the World" trophy. Do not let that fool you. The Gauntlet does absolutely nothing for the specific match trophies. You still have to play through the actual CM Punk timeline and complete the individual objectives to clean out this section.
Universe and General Exhibition Grinds
Universe mode brings the WWE Draft system to the forefront this year. You need to actively participate in the draft menus to secure the new trophies. Do not just hit the simulate button.
The general match trophies are where the real grind lives. You have a massive laundry list of highly specific scenarios that must be completed on Legend difficulty. I highly advise setting up custom Exhibition matches to knock these out. Trying to naturally trigger a 3 Stages of Hell match or an 8 Way Battle Royal against powerhouses inside Universe mode will take you weeks. Build the match manually in Exhibition, set the difficulty to Legend, and get it done.
The absolute worst offender here is "RKO Everybody" which requires you to hit your finisher on 26 different opponents as Randy Orton. Keep a notepad handy to track who you have already defeated.
Navigating MyRISE and MyGM
MyRISE requires serious dedication this year. Your alignment choices dictate which trophies you earn. You have to commit to being a Fan Favorite for an entire run, and then do a separate run as a Rule Breaker.
The most frustrating part is the Paul Heyman storyline. Choosing to align with him or reject him unlocks two mutually exclusive trophies. You cannot get both on a single save file. Prepare yourself to play the campaign twice to clean up the branching narrative paths.
Over in MyGM, you need to focus heavily on creative booking. The "Ring of Fire" trophy is incredibly specific, forcing you to book an Inferno Match featuring Red Flame defeating Ace Backdraft and praying the simulation algorithms award it a 5-star rating. Focus on matching opposing fight styles and spamming rivalry cards to guarantee the rating.
MyFACTION, The Island, and Creations
MyFACTION is the live service component, which means you cannot realistically blitz it in a single weekend. It requires consistent online engagement. Focus on your Intro Challenges first to build a competent deck, then transition into grinding out the Location World Tours. You will have to log in regularly to catch enough LIVE Events to secure the "Never Felt More A-LIVE" trophy.
The Creation Suite trophies are basically free handouts. You can knock all three of them out in about ten minutes by simply messing around in the menus.
If you are on current gen hardware, The Island acts as your final hurdle. You need to grind your created character to an 85 Overall rating to unlock the DISRUPTOR Prestige rank. It plays out like a standard RPG stat grind, so spend your currency on gear upgrades frequently to speed up the process.
The most optimal way to handle this list is to knock out the Showcase and Creation trophies on day one. Let MyFACTION cook in the background over several weeks while you steadily work your way through the required MyRISE playthroughs. Keep your sliders adjusted, rely heavily on custom Exhibition matches for the Legend difficulty spikes, and you will eventually secure that Platinum.
