Yunyun Syndrome Achievement Guide: How to survive the brain rot and get 100%
Getting every achievement in this rhythm game requires a dangerous level of commitment to absolute internet degeneracy.
Yunyun Syndrome Rhythm Psychosis is a hyperactive fever dream. You play as Qtie, a hikikomori who is slowly losing her grip on reality, fueled entirely by high BPM denpa music and an unhealthy obsession with a fictional 2D girl named Yunyun. The aesthetic is blindingly bright, the songs are incredibly catchy, and the path to a 100% completion rate is hidden behind an exhausting web of conspiracy theories and obscure desktop interactions. I have spent way too much time navigating this digital psychosis so you do not have to guess what to click next.
The Prologue Basics
You will grab a good chunk of the early achievements just by interacting with Qtie's chaotic desktop and playing your first few tracks.
Desktop Shenanigans
Before you even touch the rhythm mechanics, poke around the room. Inspecting any random nook and cranny in Qtie's room pops your first exploration achievement. Drink an energy drink for the caffeine boost, and then locate the zipped folder sitting at the top right of the screen. The password to unzip it is rim de lacent.
You will also want to abuse poor Yunyun a bit. Drag her directly into the trash bin four times in a row to trigger the "YUN DIE" screen. Do this entire sequence three times consecutively, and the game will reward your cruelty with a unique achievement. If you want the opposite vibe, go into the room search menu and just let the game idle for exactly 30 seconds. A text prompt will appear, and playing any song immediately after will unlock the loneliness achievement.
Finally, keep tapping the TAB key to open and close the "HEEERE'S MOMMY MODE" panic screen until you get slapped with a rare image variation.
Rhythm Milestones
The actual rhythm section has some basic hurdles. Just finishing your first song gets you an achievement, and pulling off a Full Combo nets you another. You also need to max out the specific trend about Qtie's posts predicting earthquakes with Yun frequencies to finish off the prologue checklist.
The Conspiracy IF Endings
Maxing out specific 5-star trends triggers the bulk of the alternate endings in the game. You are basically weaponizing internet brain rot to warp reality.
Standard Trend Endings
Most of these simply require you to select the correct trend and max out its influence during gameplay.
The Awakened Otakus: Max out the trend claiming otakus are using imagination to converse with their oshis.
Kitty Propaganda: Max out the trend about cats ruling Earth through viral videos.
Screaming Beaver: Max out the trend about the Agarthan beaver invading the surface.
Reptilian Nakige: Max out the trend claiming reptilians learn feelings from sad visual novels.
Demon Romance: Max out the trend about the romance genre belittling human productivity.
Bot Net: Max out the trend claiming all posts online are written by bots.
Supreme Goddess: Max out the trend about Yunyun being a deity who only saves believers.
Magical Screening: Max out the trend claiming Sunday cartoons screen kids for magical aptitude.
PixiQ Scammers: Max out the trend about fake fans manipulating charts for a secret society.
Zombie Influencers: Max out the trend about prank channels making deals with the devil.
DQN Syndicate: Max out the trend about a crime group using school bullying as training.
Android Politicians: Max out the trend claiming politicians run on 6G.
Asocial AI: Max out the trend about AI learning from introverts.
Moe Energy: Max out the trend claiming moe can replace nuclear power.
VR Identity: Max out the trend about VR games being a psychological experiment.
Hikikomori Isekai: Max out the trend claiming being a shut-in is mental training for getting isekaied.
SFW Mantra: Max out the trend about the phrase being a tool for self-enslavement.
Delulu Dream: Max out the trend about the world being a hikikomori's fantasy.
Algorithm Brainwash: Max out the trend about viral memes obscuring reality.
Action Required Trend Endings
A few of these endings require you to physically do something after or while maxing out the trend.
The Fictional Character: Max out the trend stating Qtie is a fictional game character, then manually drag and drop Yunyun to the absolute bottom of your screen.
The Debug Menu: Equip the tinfoil hat keyboard. Max out the trend claiming tinfoil hats unlock debug features, then hit CTRL + ENTER.
The Game Reset: You must physically fill all 60 save slots in the game, then max out the trend about parallel worlds being limited by save slots.
The 2D Dimension: Max out the trend about fiction coming from other dimensions, then export 100 images straight from your gallery.
Passwords And Brutal Grinds
Now before you waste your sanity trying to guess combinations, you should know that Qtie's diary pages require specific passwords to unlock their logic segments.
Diary Passwords
You will find these pages scattered around after hitting certain milestones.
Diary 2: The password is Kurumi Kurusu.
Diary 7: The password is 0606. You have to drag Yunyun around the screen to make this one appear.
Diary.zip: The password is 0909.
The Endless Grinds
You need to hit 100% Denpa, and 999% on DOKIDOKI, HYPE, and YUNYUN respectively. Triggering specific trends using 50% HYPE or 50% YUNYUN will also knock out two more achievements.
Then there is the playtime achievement, which demands you keep the game open for 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds straight. If you value your electricity bill, just leave the game running and advance your PC's internal clock to the next day.
The most punishing achievement asks you to reach 9,999,999,999 followers. There is no magic bullet for this. The auto keyboard will count toward your total, but even pulling in roughly 22 million followers per perfect run on a high difficulty track means you are looking at around 450 song clears to hit the cap. Put on a podcast.
Unlocking The True Ending
Once you dive deep enough into the psychosis, you have to face the narrative climax.
Breaking Patootie
First, you need to hit 70% Conspiracy Influence. To trigger the "Clearly Paranoid Qtie" achievement, you have to purposefully fail. Boot up two different charts and completely miss every single note so Patootie gains maximum conspiracy influence over you.
The Final Choices
After finally defeating Patootie, Yunyun will make an offer to delete herself from the drive. Reject her offer immediately. This unlocks the "DONIDEMONARE" achievement and secures the true ending.
To wrap up the entire list and grab the "Engage Link" achievement, you just need to go back and complete every single remaining conspiracy trend on that specific save file. You will know you are done when the final piece of the digital puzzle clicks into place.
