007 First Light Guide: How to Unlock Every Suit
You can't save the world looking like you just rolled out of bed, and thankfully, 007 First Light gives you nearly forty ways to dress for the occasion.
Keep in mind that your wardrobe is strictly for the Tactical Simulator mode. You won't be running the main narrative campaign in a bright purple tuxedo, but once you hit the simulation, anything goes. I grabbed all the unlock requirements so you know exactly where to focus your time. Some outfits are handed right to you, while others demand a serious grind.
The Freebies and IOI Account Rewards
Before you start grinding challenges, you can pad out your closet just by linking your IO Interactive account.
The community (Including me, I’m a proper sucker for a good james bond story) smashed through the pre-launch wishlist milestones, so you get four outfits right out of the gate at absolutely no cost. On Duty gives you that rugged tactical look. Savanna Bloom is a loud tropical shirt, Operation Riviera keeps it clean with a polo, and the Gilded Tuxedo makes your formal wear shine. Just log in, check your Rewards and Bonuses tab, and claim them.
The TacSim Grind and In-Game Unlocks
This is where you actually have to play the game to earn your keep.
Most of the wardrobe unlocks by completing specific challenge tiers in the TacSim or buying them with Intel. I organized the earnable in-game outfits below so you can prioritize your time and stop guessing what unlocks what.
The Hitman Crossovers and Regional Promotions
If you have some Hitman time under your belt or drink entirely too much soda, you have a massive edge.
Hitman: World of Assassination
Hitman: World of Assassination owners automatically get the Midnight Ray suit just for linking their accounts. If you played the Le Chiffre Elusive Target contract in Hitman, you also snag the Casino Suit. Before you waste time searching your menus for it, know that the Hitman event is timed. If you missed it, you have to wait until IO Interactive runs it again.
Coca-Cola
Then there is the Coca-Cola promo. If you live in Belgium, France, Norway, or Sweden, you can scan receipts from 007-branded Coke cans for a chance to unlock First Class, Forest Operative, Observant Spy, Leisure Beam, and One More. For the rest of us, these are currently totally out of reach.
Hardware
You can also snag a few hardware tie-ins. You get Espresso Command by picking up select Razer gear, and the Daring Elite outfit comes straight from the GeForce Rewards tab in the NVIDIA App. Need more free stuff? Link your Twitch account. Watching 007 First Light creators gets you the Purple Tuxedo (one hour), Silent Line (two hours), and Resplendent Death.
Premium Editions and Pre-Orders
Some suits require you to open your wallet.
If you pre-ordered or bought the Deluxe Edition, you get Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Gentleman Operator, and Silent Anchor. The Day of the Dead suit is easily the wildest of the bunch. If you dropped serious cash on the Collector's or Legacy Edition, you get the armored Obsidian Gold Suit. Finally, the Classic Tuxedo is locked entirely to the physical Amazon Specialist Edition.
