Season 9 is taking a break from the usual combat grinds. Instead of forcing you to rack up eliminations for a new spray, the Death of Apocalypse event turns you into a detective. Apocalypse is dead, but he took Wolverine, Psylocke, and Gambit down with him. Right now, you can only tackle Logan's crime scene. It's a neat change of pace, provided you actually know how to piece the evidence together. Gathering The Evidence
Before you start pointing fingers, you need to collect all the available keywords. Head over to the Events tab, pull up the Death of Apocalypse page, and click into the Death of Wolverine mystery.
On the Investigate tab, you'll see a gallery image dusted with little sparkles. Click every single one. These reveal snippets of conversation that unlock your clue words. Once you have them all gathered, flip over to the Deduction page. This is where things usually get frustrating because placing one wrong word keeps the case open, and the game doesn't exactly tell you which blank you messed up.

The Killer Revealed
Once you slot those final clues into place, the truth comes out. Bucky is the one who put Wolverine down. It turns out Bucky, while under Hydra's control, murdered Logan's family years ago. That revelation naturally triggered Wolverine's Berserker Rage, sparking a massive brawl. Ultimately, Bucky's mechanical arm delivered the fatal strike while hive cells drained Logan's blood and shut down his healing factor entirely.
