Marvel Rivals Season 9 Battle Pass: All Skins And Rewards Revealed
If you were hoping for a bright and sunny summer update, you are going to be severely disappointed by the trail of bodies Apocalypse left behind.
NetEase is officially pivoting the game into a dark, Egyptian-themed murder mystery for Season 9. The overarching narrative revolves around the fall of Apocalypse and a series of inexplicable deaths across the timeline with no clear culprit to be found. To match that grim energy, the developers are dropping The Faith Harvesting Engine Battle Pass on July 10, 2026. If you upgrade to the premium track, you will permanently unlock a fresh wave of cosmetics, customization items, Lattice, and Units to help you solve the mystery in style.
I checked the official reveal, and there are exactly 10 new character costumes entering the rotation this season.
The Faith Harvesting Engine Costumes
You are looking at a heavy mix of ancient Egyptian aesthetics, comic-accurate throwbacks, and a few downright weird variants.
Before you burn through your accumulated Lattice, you should know exactly who is getting a wardrobe upgrade. While some of these hit perfectly, others might leave you wondering why your main got skipped again.
Breakdown Of The Highlights
While the full Egyptian aesthetic dominates the lineup, a few of these skins pull completely different styles from obscure comic history.
The Trenchcoat Alcoholic And The Symbiote Flower
The absolute crown jewel of this pass is the Ultron-15 skin. As spotted by the folks in the community tracking the stream reveals, the designers actually gave the metallic menace a trenchcoat. It is a direct pull from the comics where Ultron-15 essentially became an unabashed alcoholic. If you thought getting gunned down by a sentient AI was bad, wait until he does it dressed like a noir detective. Even better, multiple streams have pointed out that Ultron-15 is likely going to be one of the free skins on the track alongside Namor's Lord of Atlantis look.
Venom is also taking a bizarrely beautiful turn with the Venom Bloom skin, It is weird, it is vibrant, and I am absolutely going to equip it just to confuse the enemy backline.
Comic Accuracies And Simple Recolors
If you prefer traditional comic book designs, the Storied Survivor skin for Cloak and Dagger is going to be an instant buy. It is highly accurate to their classic appearances, pulling straight from their oldest panels.
Before you get too excited about Mister Fantastic finally getting some attention, you need to temper your expectations. His Red-Y 4 Action suit appears to be a simple red recolor that lines up with his Marvel NOW era designs. It perfectly matches the Blood Storm aesthetics we saw for Invisible Woman and Human Torch way back in Season 1. If you wanted a completely original model for the stretchy genius, you are out of luck.
Roster Repeats And Shocking Omissions
Not everyone is thrilled with the lineup. You are seeing a lot of the same faces popping up again while other major characters sit completely ignored.
If you are a Rocket Raccoon or Mantis main, you are eating incredibly well right now. They both secure yet another premium skin with the Golden Artificer and Akkaban Acolyte designs. However, if you step back and look at the actual overarching narrative of Season 9, there are some glaring holes in the logic. We are dealing with an Egyptian murder mystery centered entirely around the Age of Apocalypse. The fact that Storm and Black Panther completely missed the cut for a costume in this specific pass is baffling. I guess the weather goddess will just have to sit out the apocalypse in her default gear.
