Mouse P.I. For Hire: How Long To Beat And Complete Mission List
Now before you waste hours wandering these gritty streets, you need to know exactly how much time this game demands from your schedule.
Mouseburg is a miserable place. It is crawling with mobsters, crooked cops, and a general sense of dread that seeps through the black and white aesthetic. I spent a long time turning this city upside down, and let me tell you, this is not a game that respects your modern sensibilities. There is no handholding here. If you want to know what you are getting into before you sign your life away to the agency, I have mapped out the entire itinerary.
Knowing how many hours you need to set aside and exactly which missions are coming up next is critical. This game is incredibly stingy about letting you revisit old crime scenes, so having a roadmap keeps you from making a fatal error in your save file management.
The Bitter Truth About Replayability
Let us get the bad news out of the way immediately. There is no New Game Plus mode in Mouse P.I. For Hire. Finishing the campaign does not unlock any secret modifiers, bonus chapters, or a magical chapter select screen. Once you roll the credits, you are done.
The game operates on a strict forward momentum. Once you clear an area and head back to the P.I. Office, that specific level is locked down. If you missed a hidden safe, a comic book, or a side job item, it is gone forever. This is why I constantly emphasize the importance of dropping a manual save before every single mission. If you want to survive the completion grind without losing your mind, also check our Mouse P.I. For Hire Achievement Guide to avoid missing the critical items.
The Complete Case File
There are 24 main missions in the campaign. The story comes full circle, starting and ending with "Big Mouse, Little Hope."
What you really need to pay attention to are the side jobs. These are given to you by characters in the P.I. Office hub between specific missions. If you do not talk to them and secure the job before starting the next main level, you will permanently miss the quest.
I have outlined the exact chronological mission list below. I also attached every side job to the specific mission where you actually find the required item, along with who gives you the quest beforehand. Use this as your definitive checklist.

Keep this list pulled up on a second screen while you play. Mouseburg will chew you up and put you 6 feet under if you rush blindly through these environments.
