NORSE: Oath of Blood Achievement Guide: Plundering the Platinum

Viking warfare is supposed to be glorious, but getting the platinum trophy in NORSE Oath of Blood honestly just feels like doing unpaid administrative work for a blacksmith.

NORSE: Oath of Blood gameplay showing a shield-wielding warrior in combat facing a horned enemy and an archer in a dark, firelit Viking camp with skulls and fallen foes.

If you want to clear this achievement list, you cannot just swing your axe blindly into a crowd and hope for the best. This game demands absolute tactical precision. You are forced to engage heavily with every single crafting vendor, manipulate enemy pathing for massive area of effect strikes, and use highly specific buffs to keep your warband from getting slaughtered.

I dragged my units through the absolute meat grinder of this campaign to figure out exactly how the background logic for these trophies actually works. Whether you are struggling with the miserable RNG of the crafting system or trying to figure out how to hit four enemies with a single arrow, I mapped it all out. Here is exactly how to knock out all twenty achievements without losing your mind.

The Blacksmith Administrative Grind

Do not ignore your camp upgrades. A massive chunk of the achievement list is tied directly to dumping your hard earned resources into your three main vendors.

Masterwork Blueprints

You need to craft 10 Masterwork items at the Forge for the Craftwright achievement, 10 at the Seamstress for Skillwright, and 10 at the Huntsman for Craftseer. You do not have to guess which items count toward this. Simply open the crafting menu and look for items marked with a teal colored tag. These are your Masterwork blueprints. Just hoard your base materials and grind out ten of these at each respective vendor.

The Superior RNG Nightmare

The Steadyhand achievement requires you to craft 10 Superior Items. Unlike Masterwork items, there is no specific blueprint for these. Every single time you craft a standard item, the game rolls a background die. You have a very small percentage chance to accidentally craft a Superior version of that item instead. There is no real tactical strategy here. You just need to craft the absolute cheapest items in the game repeatedly until the RNG gods bless you ten times.

Battlefield Manipulation

These achievements require you to actively set up the board and use specific character abilities to secure kills. You cannot just play naturally and expect these to pop.

Area of Effect Traps

For Iron-Storm, you need to knock back three enemies in one blow using Ran's Wave. Do not waste this skill early in a fight. Move your unit into a tight choke point, let the melee enemies swarm you, and then unleash the wave to hit three targets at once.

Arrow Storm asks you to hit four different enemies with a single Arrow Volley. Wait for the enemy AI to cluster together. Archery units usually hang back, so try to bait the melee fighters toward an enemy archer before dropping the volley directly on top of the entire group.

Executions and Disrespect

To get Rend and Ruin, you must deal twice as much damage as the max health of your target. Find the absolute weakest, lowest tier mob on the map. Wait until you have your heaviest hitting attack charged up, apply every damage buff you have, and completely nuke the poor guy into oblivion.

For No Escape, No Mercy, you just need to kill a grappled target during your round. Let one of your units grapple an enemy to lock them down, then bring in a second unit to execute them before your turn ends.

Buffs and Revives

You will earn Stormbringer simply by using the War-Cry ability to provide 10 Ferocity to your allies. Just spam this whenever your units are grouped up. Hearthfire Rekindled requires you to help a knocked down ally using Embolden. Let one of your frontline fighters take a severe beating until they drop, then cast Embolden on them to instantly restore 25 percent of their health and grant them the Confident status.

The Runestone Exploit

The final three achievements on the list (Knowledge of the Gods I, II, and III) require you to discover two, five, and eventually all of the Runestones hidden in the game.

Finding them legitimately is not terribly difficult. You just need to hold the Left Alt key or the Right Trigger while exploring to highlight all interactable objects in the environment. However, the developers completely broke their own collectible tracking.

The game tracks Runestone interactions globally, not uniquely. If you find a Runestone, interact with it, and then intentionally fail the mission, you can simply restart the mission. Walk up and grab the exact same Runestone, and the game will count it as a brand new discovery toward your total. You can abuse this loop to max out the entire achievement track in roughly five minutes.

The Combat Attrition Checklist

The remaining combat achievements are purely numbers based. You will likely unlock most of these naturally, but you should keep the specific requirements in mind so you do not have to grind them in the post game.

The Long Term Combat Grind

Track these specific stats as you play through the campaign to avoid tedious farming sessions later.

Achievement Name The Requirement
Warband Get 200 collective kills across your entire playthrough. You will hit this without even trying.
Death Raven Kill 30 enemies with a single specific unit. Just designate one character as your primary executioner.
Slaughterer's Wake Kill 50 enemies while using Rampage. This ability chains damage to adjacent units, making it perfect for clearing crowds of weak mobs.
The Unerring Arrow Kill 20 enemies while your unit is actively buffed with the Focus status. Make sure the focused unit lands the lethal blow.
The Warlord's Sight Expose Weakness 20 times. Use any ability that applies the Exposed debuff to an enemy target.
Brothers in Arms Kill an enemy using a combo attack. Use a unit with repeatable abilities to trigger the combo state, and ensure the combo hit is the one that kills them.
Bane of Valkyries Deal damage to 30 enemies while your character is sitting below 50 percent health. Let a tank take some heavy hits, then leave them at half health while they swing back.
