Road To Vostok Guide: The Complete Trader Delivery Manifest

You spend hours dragging a heavy car battery through the snow while dodging sniper fire just to realize the local vendor actually wanted a specific brand of coffee.

A first-person perspective gameplay screenshot of Road to Vostok featuring a suppressed handgun aimed across a muddy, flooded outdoor arena surrounded by a dense pine forest.

The economy in this game is entirely barter based. There is no cash register where you can just dump your unwanted loot for a pile of coins. If you want to survive, you have to play by the rules of the three primary vendors scattered across the map. These traders do not just sell you better gear. They act as the primary progression gatekeepers.

Completing their specific delivery tasks is the only way to earn discounts and unlock access to the permanent safe zones detailed in my shelter locations guide. Now before you waste your entire afternoon hoarding the wrong garbage, you need to know exactly what these guys are looking for. I compiled the exact shopping list for all three vendors so you can optimize your backpack space.

The Generalist Requirements

The Generalist is the very first trader you meet. He operates out of the large red barn right next to your starting cabin in Area 05.

If you read my beginners survival guide, you know that appeasing this guy is your top priority in the early game. Finishing his entire questline is the only way to earn the key to The Attic shelter located right above his shop. His requests are a bizarre mix of basic hygiene products and heavy hardware.

Generalist Delivery List

  • 1 Toilet paper

  • 1 Cigs and 20 Matches

  • 1 Pillow, 1 Lotion, and 1 Painkiller

  • 1 Coffee and 1 Coffee Filter

  • 1 Deodorant and 1 Wipes

  • 1 Lumber, 1 Toolbox, 1 Bucket, 1 Duct tape, and 1 Nails

  • 6 Beer

  • 1 KP-31 and 1 Drum Magazine

  • 1 Battery, 1 Cables, 1 Inverter, 1 Jerry can, and 1 Oil filter

  • 1 Kiju

The Doctor Requirements

When you finally push out of the starting village and reach the Outpost map in the Border Zone, you will find the Doctor.

You need to complete his tasks if you want to make the local Outpost Tent functional. The tent itself is free, but he holds the shelves hostage until you bring him his supplies. His list focuses heavily on medical items and random entertainment to pass the time.

Doctor Delivery List

  • 1 Duct tape

  • 1 Cigars

  • 4 Books (Specifically one Children, one Cooking, one Fishing, and one Religion book)

  • 1 Board game

  • 1 Batteries and 1 Polaris

  • 1 Antiseptic and 1 Antibiotics

  • 3 Saline

  • 1 Harmonica

  • 1 Patient Report

  • 3 Oil Sample

You need to be incredibly careful with those three Oil Samples. As I mentioned in previous guides, those samples only spawn inside the permadeath Classroom area. If you die trying to extract them, the game will send you straight back to the main menu without your gear.

The Gunsmith Requirements

The Gunsmith is also located in the Outpost, operating out of a heavily fortified bunker.

This is the endgame vendor. He sells the heavy weaponry you desperately need to survive the late game zones. He is also the sociopath who will happily buy a live animal from you for 2500 euros, which I detailed extensively in my missing cat location guide.

His delivery tasks are the most demanding in the game. He wants high tier military hardware, specific ammunition, and the signature Flame Beanie looted straight from the Punisher boss.

Gunsmith Delivery List

  • 1 Mosquito hat

  • 1 Pea soup (Cooked) and 1 Mustard

  • 3 Snus

  • 1 Skarma 200 and 1 Skarma 240

  • 50 rounds of 4.6x30 Ammo

  • 20 rounds of 9x39 Ammo

  • 20 rounds of 6.62R Ammo

  • 1 KA-M, 1 KAS-74U, and 1 KA-12

  • 3 IFAK

  • 1 SSV and 1 SS Magazine

  • 1 PV7

  • 1 Flame Beanie

Fulfilling that weapon order is going to take a lot of patience and luck. Make sure you brush up on your hidden controls and weapon mechanics so you know how to safely unload and manage those rifles before you hand them over.

Once you finally clear the Gunsmith task board, you will receive the Bunker key. You can safely stash your endgame loot there and begin preparing for the absolute worst part of the game. When you are fully stocked, read my minefield border crossing guide to ensure you do not get blown to pieces on your way to Vostok.
