Scritchy Scratchy Faithful Servant Guide: Obeying the Corporation
Getting the Faithful Servant achievement is an exercise in pure psychological torture because it demands you throw away the exact thing you just spent hours grinding for.
The entire gameplay loop of Scritchy Scratchy is built around dopamine hits and scaling your income. You buy tickets, you scratch the foil, you collect the winnings, and you upgrade your automated luck machines. The game conditions you to click the big shiny buttons the millisecond they appear on your screen. If you read my Scritchy Scratchy Review, you already know how deeply addictive and bizarre the late game mechanics become.
Then, right at the peak of your run, the developers introduce the Faithful Servant badge. It sits at a completion rate of less than one percent, mostly because the required steps are completely counterintuitive. You are not just trying to beat the odds. You are actively fighting your own muscle memory. I have watched players ruin a perfect run simply because their finger twitched on the mouse. Here is the exact process you need to follow to secure the secret ending and get the Corporation off your back.
The Setup and Prerequisites
You cannot just boot up a fresh save and stumble into this secret ending. The Faithful Servant event is hard locked behind late game progression.
First, you must have Catalogue 4 unlocked and completed. If you are still messing around in the early stages or playing the demo, this event will never trigger. You need to push your economy hard. If your automation setup is currently a disaster, you should probably take a detour and read my Scritchy Scratchy Beginners Guide to fix your cash flow before attempting this.
Your primary goal is to farm Golden Tickets until you trigger the Final Chance ticket. To maximize your odds of actually winning the Final Chance jackpot, you need a massive pool of resources. I highly recommend utilizing the Day Job meta. Farm plates until you have accumulated at least 20 million coins. Once you have your war chest, dump absolutely every Prestige point you own directly into your Luck stat. Do not spread your points around. You need raw, concentrated luck.
Surviving the Final Chance
A lot of the guides floating around the internet claim that you just need to acquire the Final Chance card to start the sequence. That is completely false.
You do not get a gold star just for showing up. You have to actually win the jackpot on the Final Chance ticket. This means surviving the skull minigame. If you scratch three skulls, the ticket is a dud, and you have to start the grinding process all over again. This is exactly why dumping your points into Luck is mandatory.
When you do manage to scratch a winning Final Chance card, the game shifts gears immediately. The Corporation will call you. The message is simple, cold, and threatening. They are coming to collect the ticket, and they explicitly warn you not to claim the reward for yourself.
The Ultimate Trap
The moment the phone call ends, a massive, glowing "CLAIM" button will materialize on your screen.
This is the psychological trap I mentioned earlier. You just spent hours farming plates, optimizing your bot setup, and praying to the RNG gods for a winning ticket. Your brain is hardwired to click that button the second it appears. The game knows this. It wants you to fail.
If you click it, you keep the massive payout, but you lose the secret ending and the badge. You have to physically take your hand off your mouse. Push your keyboard away. Do whatever it takes to stop yourself from interacting with the prompt.
The Five Minute Staring Contest
To prove your unwavering loyalty to the Corporation, you must wait exactly five minutes in real time.
Five minutes does not sound like a long time until you are staring at a static screen with a giant claim button pulsing in your face. It is agonizing. However, there is a critical technical detail you must remember during this waiting period. Do not Alt-Tab to watch a YouTube video or check your email.
Based on my own testing, switching focus away from the game window will often pause the internal hidden timer. You could end up waiting twenty minutes while the game sits in the background doing absolutely nothing. Keep the game window active and focused the entire time.
If you cleared your table with the Fan earlier, you will not have to worry about any annoying sprite overlap bugs ruining the climax. After five agonizing minutes, a Shadowy Figure will slowly drift onto the side of your screen. They will manually collect your winning ticket, leaving you with empty pockets but a profound sense of corporate pride.
The secret Faithful Servant ending will trigger, and the rarest badge in the game will finally pop. The payout from the Prestige bonus tied to this achievement is actually higher than what you would get from a bankruptcy run, so your sacrifice is ultimately rewarded.
Now that you have the most frustrating challenge out of the way, sweeping up the rest of the trophies is a breeze. Check out my full Scritchy Scratchy 100% Achievement Guide to map out your final few runs.
