007 First Light Guide: How to Complete All 27 Challenges in All the Time in the World
Grabbing the Chauffeur uniform in the third mission requires a bit of patience, a lot of sneaking, and deliberately tossing a few henchmen out of a moving airplane.
"All the Time in the World" is the third major mission in 007 First Light, and it is an absolute monster in terms of scale. You have a massive hotel hosting the World Chess Championships to explore, and a whopping 27 optional challenges to cross off your list if you want to earn the Completionist reward. Since you have to play through both a stealthy pacifist route and an aggressive combat route, you will need to run this mission a few times to get everything. Mission 3 Challenges Overview
Before you start stressing about missing something, check out the full breakdown of every challenge on the docket.
The Playstyle Challenges
You have to make a choice early on because you literally cannot do all of these in one go. You will need to dedicate one run to sneaking around like a true professional, and another run to knocking people out.
The Ghost and Pacifist Route
To earn the Pacifist and Ghost challenge modifiers, you have to get through two major sections completely untouched. First is the Laundry Room. Before you waste three hours getting caught by random guards here, stick to the left side immediately. Hack the air conditioner with your Q-Lens to distract the workers, then grab the laundry hat disguise from the table. From there, just avoid any guards with a circle over their heads. The Dart Phone is your best friend for the final guard standing by the exit door.
Next up is the Study Room. You need to exit this area without hurting anyone or being seen to knock out Peace Studies and Silent Study. Stick to the left again to stay out of sight. When you hit the room with two guards, hack the nearby vacuum cleaner to distract one of them, then tag the other guy with your Dart Phone and walk right out the exit.
The Assault Route
On your second run, you get to skip the sneaking. For Getting Dirty, you just need to knock out five laundry workers in the laundry area. You can fight them in open combat or take them down stealthily, just make sure five of them hit the floor. The same logic applies to Indiscrete in the library. Take down five private security guards in that room and you are good to go.
Sneaking into the Hotel
There are a couple of specific ways to actually enter the chess tournament, and I suggest doing them on different checkpoint reloads.
Press Only and Self Check-In
For Press Only, head up the first set of stairs from the car. Go to the back area and check the plant pot to find a Press Badge. Show that to security and you walk right in.
If you want the Self Check-In challenge instead, skip the metal detectors. Look right, vault the blue tarp into the grass, and hang off the ledge on the right. You will need to distract the loitering guard here with your Dart Phone. Shimmy across, climb the pipe, and kick the metal gate to access the hotel through an open window.
Lone Wolf
This one is simple as long as you pay attention. Do not get spotted by your fellow 00 recruits. Use your Q-Lens to track their yellow markers and keep your distance. Monroe will eventually find you in a scripted event, but do not panic (that one doesn't void your challenge run).
The Manager's Office and Safe
Time to do some actual spy work and steal some secrets while you are poking around the back rooms.
The Manager and Old School Hacking
Behind the main reception desk, you will find double doors leading to a "Staff Only" area. Sneak in, hide behind the table, and distract the cleaning maids. Open the door on the far right corner to slip into the manager's office. Once inside, check the slip of paper on the desk. You will learn the Laundry Code is #1805, which instantly clears the Old School Hacking challenge.
Wine Connoisseur
Look under the manager's desk to find his personal safe. To find the code, you normally have to read the "Wine Tasting Notes" in his drawer and look at the bottles in the room. Save yourself the trouble: the code is 1952. Cracking it finishes the challenge, and it also nets you the 6 of Roses collectible. Exploring the Upper Floors
You need a few specific disguises and room access to clear this section out, and it requires a bit of environmental manipulation.
Bellboy Hat and Laundry Day
The Bellboy Hat is hidden right before you enter the laundry room. Once you have the Cellar Key, head past the entrance stairs and the talking maids to open a locked door. The hat is sitting on a clothes rack immediately to your right. For Laundry Day, you just need to equip the laundry worker disguise I mentioned earlier in the stealth section (stick left in the laundry room, hack the aircon, grab the hat off the table).
Hotel Rooms 205, 206, and 207
You can bundle these room challenges together. For Housekeeping, eavesdrop on the maid outside Room 205. Distract the guy standing nearby with the vacuum cleaner, then flip the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. The maid will enter, and you follow her right in.
To clear Do Disturb, vault out the open window at the end of the hallway and shimmy along the balcony. Kick the doors in to access Room 207.
Finally, for the Elementary challenge, you have to find all six clues inside Room 206 before you leave. Make sure you kick open the bathroom door to get the clue hiding in there, and intentionally leave the fireplace clue for last.
Puzzles, Combat, and Chases
The back half of the mission throws a bit of everything at you, ramping up the action significantly.
Chimera and A Beautiful Waste
In the dining room, you will find a torn page on a food trolley showing a Chimera made of a Lion, a Goat, and a Snake. Go to the fireplace puzzle and input those exact three symbols on your first try to complete the challenge.
Later, you will fight a Specialist in the cellar. To complete A Beautiful Waste, you need to destroy five premium wine bottles during this brawl. The easiest way is to grab the Specialist with your trigger button and hurl him into the display cases, then grab the loose wine bottles and throw them directly at him.
Floor It! and Firebrand
During the car chase sequence in pursuit of 009, simply hold the accelerator and do your best not to crash until you hit top speed. Directly after that, you will enter a firefight. Shoot five of the bright red explosive barrels scattered around the combat arena to secure the Firebrand challenge.
No Brakes and Traveling Light
Once you are inside the airplane and hack the controls, bank the plane back and forth to force the enemies to drop their weapons. Pick one up and shoot the small red barrel next to the locked vehicle across the room to clear No Brakes.
Finally, head into the second room of the plane for Traveling Light. Open the plane doors and physically throw three hostiles out of the aircraft. You can bank the plane to slide them out, or hold your sprint button to charge them right out the open door.
