Before you start sweating over which dialogue option will save your neck, I need to let you in on a little secret regarding Skovos royalty.

Most of the time in this genre, you are just mashing the skip button to get back to the mindless slaughter. You do not expect a sudden, intense interrogation to halt your momentum. The Lord of Hatred campaign throws a serious curveball during the Fate Laughs at us All quest. You find yourself cornered in the observatory on Skovos. Queen Adreona is standing right in front of you, and she is demanding answers about your deeply complicated history with Lilith.

The Royal Interrogation

When you are suddenly accused of harboring demonic ties by a monarch, your first instinct might be to lie through your teeth to avoid a swift execution.

The Weight of the Conversation

You have a history with the daughter of hatred. There is no denying that fact. The problem is that Queen Adreona has been listening to whispers. Akarat has been feeding her information, and she is ready to make a definitive judgment on your character. You are presented with a dialogue wheel that feels incredibly heavy. You have to decide right then and there if you are going to own up to your past or try to play dumb.

Every Dialogue Outcome Explained

I know exactly how stressful it is to stare at a set of choices knowing one wrong click might complicate your campaign progress. Here is exactly what happens when you select each option during the confrontation.

Dialogue Option Adreona's Reaction & The Outcome
"It's true, but I trust Lilith no more than you do. I want the same thing as you, to save Sanctuary from Hatred" Adreona claims Lilith played you exactly like she plays everyone else. Oracle Cyra steps up to defend your actions.
"Akarat lies to you. No demon lives within me" Adreona reveals she had you followed and already knows exactly what you have been doing. Oracle Cyra steps up to defend your actions.
"Does it matter what I say? Akarat has already poisoned your mind against me" Adreona repeats that she had you followed. Oracle Cyra steps up to defend your actions.
"Forget me. Listen to your advisors, they're telling you the truth" Adreona refuses to let you deflect. She demands to hear the answer directly from you. The game forces you to pick one of the other three options.

The Illusion of Consequence

If you are looking closely at those outcomes, you probably noticed a glaring pattern hiding behind the dialogue text. Your specific words do not actually alter the trajectory of the narrative.

Saved by the Oracle

You can tell the complete truth or you can lie directly to the face of the queen. The destination remains identical. Adreona has already made up her mind about you before the conversation even started. Nothing you say is going to magically change her perspective or clear your name on the spot.

The only reason you are not immediately sent to a cell is because of outside interference. Oracle Cyra is your ultimate safety net in this scenario. Regardless of how you handle the interrogation, the Oracle steps in. She explains her own role in the events since your arrival in Skovos and ensures you walk away with your life intact. You can click whatever option aligns best with your personal headcanon and safely get back to the grind without worrying about ruining your playthrough.
