It's been a wild ride watching Star Wars Droid Tycoon evolve inside Fortnite. While the main battle royale mode runs through its usual seasonal cycles, this tycoon mode has been quietly dropping massive content updates. The biggest hurdle you'll face in your grinding journey is the Super Rebirth system. It's a terrifying button to press because it literally wipes out almost everything you've built, but the permanent rewards are too good to ignore.
The Painful Reset and What You Keep
Before you waste hours grinding without knowing the consequences, you need to understand exactly what gets thrown into the trash compactor when you choose to Super Rebirth. Unlike a standard Rebirth that only wipes your Credits to zero, the Super variant is a complete nuclear reset.
You'll lose your entire base and every single droid you've painstakingly unlocked. That's a tough pill to swallow when you've spent days building up your metallic squad. Fortunately, you don't lose absolutely everything. You get to keep your full progress in the Droidex, and you also retain any bonuses you've earned from crafting Flawless Droids.
In exchange for starting from scratch, you'll secure permanent multipliers to both your Credits and your experience. More importantly, you'll walk away with Nova Crystals. These are the most valuable resources in the game, used exclusively to buy permanent upgrades.
