007 First Light Guide: How to Claim Free Twitch Drops

Risking Earning high-end MI6 gear usually involves getting shot at, but right now you can grab a few exclusive suits just by leaving a browser tab open.

IO Interactive partnered up with Twitch to run a limited promotional campaign for 007 First Light. If you are willing to watch someone else play the game for a little while, you can score three different outfits and a profile badge completely free of charge. The promotion is currently live and runs until 9:59 AM on June 23, 2026. Once that deadline hits, these specific cosmetics are gone.

The Mandatory Account Link

Before you sit down and waste two hours watching a stream, you need to fix your backend settings. If your accounts aren't linked, Twitch has no idea where to send your items.

You need to log into your IOI account and physically link it to your Twitch profile. After that is done, verify that your PlayStation network account (or whatever platform you are playing on) is also tied to your Twitch. Missing a step here means your rewards just vanish into the digital void.

The Watch Time Grind

You can't just click on any random person playing the game. You have to hunt for specific stream titles depending on what you actually want to unlock.

Reward Item	Unlock Requirement
Purple Suit Outfit	Watch any stream with the #DROPS tag for 1 hour.
Silent Line Outfit	Watch any stream with the #DROPS tag for 2 hours total.
Resplendent Outfit	Watch a specific sponsored stream featuring the #IOICreator and #ad tags for 1 hour.
007 Gun Barrel Badge	Purchase a new subscription, a recurring sub, or a gift sub in a participating channel.

If you are hunting for the Resplendent Outfit, pay very close attention to those tags. Standard drops won't count toward it. You have to find a sponsored creator. As for the Gun Barrel Badge, you actually have to spend real money on a Twitch sub to claim it, so decide if a tiny profile icon is really worth your cash.

Twitch will pop a notification in your inbox the second you cross the required time threshold. You have to manually open your Twitch Drop Inventory and click the claim button to push the items to your game.

Don’t panic if you boot up your console and the suits aren't waiting in your wardrobe immediately. The IOI servers can take up to 24 hours to process the transaction and deliver your goods. While you wait for your new clothes to arrive, you can always brush up on your advanced stealth tactics.
