007 First Light Guide: How to Complete All 29 Uninvited Challenges
The fifth mission throws a massive 29 challenges at you, requiring everything from flawless stealth to throwing kitchen appliances at an assassin.
"Uninvited" is an absolute gauntlet of a mission. If you want the Completionist bonus and the slick Funeral Outfit for James Bond, you need to master three distinct playstyles across several massive encounters. Because many of these objectives conflict with each other directly (you cannot be a ghost and simultaneously shoot 15 guards), you will need to replay specific checkpoints a few times to get everything. If you are curious about how many hours this will actually add to your total playtime, check out my 007 First Light How Long to Beat Chapter List to plan your runs.
The Full Uninvited Challenge List
Before you start worrying about specific routes or loadouts, here is the complete breakdown of every challenge the game expects you to clear in this chapter.
Assassins and Snipers
The mission kicks off with immediate high stakes combat. You need to handle two major threats before you even get near the gala event.
Kitchen Wars and Hard Man
During your very first encounter with the assassin inside your room, you have to win the fight without taking a single hit to clear Hard Man. Rely heavily on your parries and dodges. Once the brawl naturally moves into the kitchen, you can tackle Kitchen Wars. Just hit your throw button to hurl three different random kitchen objects right at his head before you finish the fight.
Missed Me
Before you waste an hour trying to outrun the sniper during the Sharpshooter checkpoint, know that speed is not the answer. You have to actively blind him. Stay deep in cover and use your gadgets to hack the nearby lights. This blinds him long enough for you to dash safely toward the crane without taking damage. If you are getting hit through walls anyway, you might have caught a pre-release bug and will need to wait for a patch.
Infiltrating the Gala
You have several completely different routes to get upstairs at the party. I highly recommend dedicating a separate checkpoint reload for each of these methods so you do not accidentally alert the guards you need to manipulate.
Say Cheese and Gate Crasher
If you want to walk in disguised as a photographer for Say 'Cheese', go eavesdrop on the journalist at the central bar and introduce yourself as Rob Minkley. To grab a camera, sneak over to the room on the left side of the entrance. Hack the microphone to distract one guard, hit the second guard with a Phone Dart, and steal the camera. The journalist will escort you straight upstairs.
For Gate Crasher, you just force your way in. Grab the chemical bottles near the reception desk. Hit one of the three door guards with a Phone Dart, then use your Laser Strap to blind the other two while you stroll right past them.
Always on Duty
You can also pose as a missing security guard. Look right from the entrance, eavesdrop on the guards, and talk to the one who stays behind. You need the Guard Rota to successfully bluff him. Head to the cafe, hack the laptop to distract the male employee, hack the washer to distract the woman, and read the tablet behind the counter to learn the missing guard's name.
VIP Entrance and Behind the Scenes
For the VIP Entrance, locate the woman standing with a guard on the right side of the main hall. Hack the radio to distract her, use a Phone Dart on the guard, and pickpocket her keycard so you can walk right through the upstairs door. While you are picking pockets, you might want to look around for the chapter's hidden items. You can check out my 007 First Light All Collectibles Hub to track down the rest.
If you want to use the backstage door for Behind the Scenes, head back to the same left side room where you stole the camera earlier. Distract the guards using the exact same methods, but this time squeeze through the small hole in the corner of the room to bypass security entirely.
The CCTV Room
Once you are upstairs in the security area, you have a massive split in how you can approach the main objective.
Dropping In for a Quiet Night
You can clear Dropping In, A Quiet Night, and Top Notch Security all at once by taking the roof route. Wait for the starting guards to move, disable the camera, and head into the right room (ignore the civilians in here). In the next room, hack the air conditioner to create a smoke screen and slip out the right door to the balcony. Jump the ledge, climb the pipe up to the roof, laser the locked gate, and hack the skylight to drop directly into the CCTV room completely untouched.
Simon Says and All Clear
If you want to clear Simon Says, you can only knock out Simon (wearing the brown coat) and his bald friend near the pool table. Hack the left speaker to distract the friend, hack the vending machine for the third guard, and quickly knock out your two targets in the confusion.
For the All Clear challenge, just drop the stealth entirely and start a massive brawl in the security room until you defeat 10 guards.
The Workshop
The storage and workshop area demands precise gadget use if you want to get out clean.
Workplace Agreement and Rack N Roll
Kick the front doors in and immediately climb the boxes on your right to reach the ceiling grates. Move left, wait for the guard below to walk near the vent, and hack the air conditioner to blind him. Drop down, snatch the Workshop Keycard, and hack the AC above the locked door. Open the door, hit the guard inside with a Phone Dart, close the doors behind you, and climb the inner wall to reach the exit vent.
Art Attack and Nothing to Report
If you are doing a silent takedown run for Nothing to Report, use your Q-Lens to track the seven guards in the workshop. Isolate them with distractions and choke every single one out without being spotted. For the loud route, grab a gun, lure the guards to the center of the room, and shoot the explosive canisters to kill three of them at once for Art Attack.
Surviving the Courtyard
The courtyard is easily the most heavily populated area in the mission, meaning your approach here dictates your final meta challenges.
Fast Track and Just Passing Through
Vault the left gap right at the start, drop down, and enter the left window. Shoot the fire extinguisher with your laser and hack the laptop to completely distract the guards. Pickpocket the keycard from the closest guard, vault into the central garden, hug the wall, and shoot the cement bags near the exit to create a smoke screen. Walk out without hurting anyone.
The Big Bluff and Combat Stealth
If you want the Big Bluff challenge, head to the second room on the right side of the top floor. There are three standard guards here. Bluff one, take him down to regain Focus, and repeat the process on the other two.
For 8 for 8, perform eight completely silent takedowns using your Lure gadget to separate guards. To clear Health & Safety, use your Laser Strap on the yellow metal scaffolding lining the edges of the courtyard to crush three guards.
Going Loud
If you are tired of sneaking, pull out your rifle and simply eliminate 15 guards to finish Green Fingers. You will need a keycard to escape the courtyard if you go loud. Go to the piano room on the right side of the courtyard and input the code 3256 (found in the library) to grab a spare card.
The Final Escape
The end of the mission gives you two very quick final tasks before you are completely clear.
IT Specialist and Bin Collection
When you enter the Webb exhibition room lined with TV screens, shoot 15 of them to clear IT Specialist (James Bond clearly has no respect for expensive monitors). Finally, during the garbage truck escape sequence, steer the truck to the right side straight through the orange construction cones to secure the alternate route and finish the mission.
