Resident Evil Requiem Safe Codes Guide: Every Location and Combination

Cracking a combination lock while a genetically engineered nightmare stalks you down a hallway is practically a rite of passage in this franchise.

Capcom loves to hide the most vital resources behind dial locks. If you want to survive the grim reality of Resident Evil Requiem, you need every single bullet, Med Injector, and Antique Coin you can get your bloody hands on. Leaving a safe unopened is basically begging the game to punish you later. If you are struggling with basic survival strategies before you even worry about locks, take a detour and read my Resident Evil Requiem beginners guide to get your bearings.

For the completionists out there playing on PC or consoles, tracking down these metal boxes is mandatory. Opening all five functional safes as Grace is the only way to unlock the "No Safe is Safe" trophy and achievement. If you are going for full 100% completion, you can view my Resident Evil Requiem trophy achievement guide to map out the rest of your run.

The kicker is that the codes change depending on your difficulty setting. Playing on Insanity mode completely scrambles the combinations. Because I respect your time and value your survival, I have compiled the exact locations and dial turns for every safe in the game.

REQUIEM MASTER SAFE CODES

Spin the dials exactly in the direction listed. One wrong turn means starting the sequence over while whatever is in the room with you gets closer.

SAFE LOCATION STANDARD CODE INSANITY CODE
Bar & Lounge (Rhodes Hill) Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 Right 20, Left 50, Right 30
Examination Room (Rhodes Hill) Right 30, Left 10, Right 50 Left 50, Right 30, Left 90
Basement Furnace (Rhodes Hill) Right 60, Left 40, Right 80 Left 70, Right 50, Left 20
Sterilization Chamber (ARK) Right 10, Left 90, Right 20 Left 80, Right 50, Left 0
Monitor Control Room (ARK) Left 50, Right 60, Left 80 Right 20, Left 0, Right 70

The Rhodes Hill Care Center Safes

The Care Center is where you spend a massive chunk of your early playtime. You are severely underpowered here. I highly recommend clearing out the immediate threats in these rooms before you glue your face to a combination lock.

The Bar & Lounge Safe

You will find your first real locked stash on the second floor of Rhodes Hill inside the Bar and Lounge. The safe is sitting directly behind the bar on a wooden shelf. Getting the code organically requires you to navigate the Custodian's Office corridor and check the second floor office.

Opening this box is crucial. It hands you three Antique Coins. You use these to buy permanent upgrades at the Parlor. More importantly, Grace's S&S M232 pistol is resting right nearby. Grab it.

The Examination Room Safe

Still in Rhodes Hill, you will spot this safe in the back right corner of the Examination Room when you enter from the East Wing Lobby. The scrap of paper containing the code is buried in a pile of broken lockers outside the Conference Room.

Punching in the code nets you another three Antique Coins. By combining the loot from the Bar and the Examination Room, you will have enough currency to drastically improve your survivability early on.

The Basement Furnace Safe

This one requires a bit of legwork. You need to use a Joint Plug to access the forklift room down in the Basement. Take the path west of the Furnace and look for a small office.

The code for this safe is actually found during Leon's segment in a warped closet up in the attic. You open it as Grace to find a massive prize. Inside is the Raccoon Roundup Map for Rhodes Hill. This item automatically marks every single Mr. Raccoon collectible on your map for this zone. You also get ten Handgun Bullets. Missing this safe makes the collectible hunt an absolute nightmare.

The Waiting Room Safe (The Freebie)

I am including this one specifically to save you from losing your mind. You will find a safe sitting behind the desk in the Waiting Room. It is already open. You do not need a code. If you are playing on Standard difficulty, you can pluck two Antique Coins straight out of it. On Insanity mode, the safe is completely empty. It is a cruel little joke by the developers, but it does not count toward your achievement progress.

The ARK Laboratory Safes

By the time you reach the ARK underground facility, the game stops pulling its punches. The enemies hit harder and your resources drain faster. Finding these safes is no longer optional if you want to stay armed.

The Sterilization Chamber Safe

This safe is tucked away at the rear of the Sterilization Chamber. The problem is that the room is crawling with Lickers. If you try to open this safe while they are active, you are going to get decapitated. I highly suggest checking my Resident Evil Requiem combat guide to learn the parry timings for these creatures before attempting a stealth run.

The code is hidden down in the Anteroom on a piece of paper behind a giant Umbrella Corporation logo. Cracking the lock rewards you with 15 Handgun bullets, a Med Injector, and a Molotov Cocktail. You will need every single one of those items for the gauntlet ahead.

The Monitor Control Room Safe

Your final safe is located in the Monitor Control Room opposite the door you enter through. It is right next to the lobby that requires two orbs to progress. Thankfully, this specific room is relatively quiet. The code is sitting in Bioweapon Repository 05 inside the middle shipping container on the right side.

Opening this safe gives you a Med Injector, an Acid Bottle, and an Empty Bottle. These are essential components for surviving the late game boss fights. If you are not sure how to maximize the potential of these ingredients, my Resident Evil Requiem crafting guide explains exactly what you should be mixing.

Once you pop open that final door in the Monitor Control Room, the No Safe is Safe achievement will trigger. Spend your newly acquired ammo wisely
