Resident Evil Requiem Trophy & Achievement Guide: Surviving the 100% Grind

Earning the platinum trophy or 100% achievements in Resident Evil Requiem is a brutal test of inventory management and survival instincts, but I have mapped out the exact path to save your sanity.

Whether you play on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation, hitting 100% completion in Capcom's latest nightmare is not for the faint of heart. You are looking at a minimum of two full playthroughs, though I highly recommend three unless you genuinely enjoy torturing yourself by stacking speedruns with no-healing restrictions. There are 51 trophies and achievements in total. Some unlock naturally, while others force you to master the combat sandbox.

If you are stepping into the game for the first time, do yourself a favor and read my Resident Evil Requiem beginners guide first. Once you know how to stay alive, you can start optimizing your runs for these unlocks.

REQUIEM 100% ROADMAP STATS

Before you start stressing about missed files and infinite rocket launchers, here is the hard data on what this platinum demands.

REQUIREMENT THE REALITY
Estimated Difficulty 5/10 (Drops significantly once you unlock infinite ammo)
Time to 100% Roughly 25 to 30 hours depending on your speedrun efficiency.
Playthroughs Needed Minimum of 2, but 3 is the smartest path to preserve your sanity.
Missable Trophies Technically all of them outside of the core story progression. Keep manual saves.

The Unmissable Story Trophies

Let us get the freebies out of the way. You will unlock this batch simply by beating the game once.

  • Deja Vu: Encounter an outbreak in Wrenwood. Unlocks early in Leon's prologue.

  • Descent Into Darkness: Reach the basement of the care center as Grace.

  • It's Been a Long Night: Reach the courtyard of the care center.

  • A Harsh Reality: Escape the care center.

  • Going Down?: Reach the ground using the suspended platform with Leon.

  • The Hero Returns: Arrive at the R.P.D. building.

  • I Remember That, Too: Defeat the Super Tyrant as Leon.

  • Umbrella's Legacy: Find ARK.

  • The Final Mission: Start exploring the lower levels of ARK as Grace.

  • Hope and Requiem: Complete the main story by releasing Elpis. You must choose the "Release Elpis" option at the end of the game to get this.

Difficulty and Challenge Runs

This is where the platinum journey truly begins. The game forces you to play intelligently and deliberately.

Difficulty Stacking

  • Rookie Agent: Complete the main story on at least Casual difficulty.

  • Rising Agent: Complete the main story on at least Standard (Modern) difficulty.

  • Resolute Agent: Complete the main story on at least Standard (Classic) difficulty. This requires ink ribbons to save.

  • Remarkable Agent: Complete the main story on Insanity difficulty. Since difficulty trophies stack, beating Insanity unlocks everything below it. Do this on your final run after unlocking infinite weapons.

Game Restrictions

  • Speed Demon: Complete the main story by releasing Elpis within four hours. Play on Casual. Run past enemies when possible.

  • Never Touch The Stuff: Complete the main story without using herbs or med injectors. Casual difficulty auto-regenerates health to a moderate level, making this surprisingly easy.

  • Minimalist: Complete the main story without Grace using the blood collector. Simply ignore the collector in the Blood Lab.

Combat and Executions

Requiem features a deep combat sandbox. If you are struggling to pull these off, my Resident Evil Requiem combat guide breaks down enemy behaviors and positioning.

General Combat

  • Seasoned Pro: Defeat 300 enemies. This will pop naturally across your playthroughs.

Leon's Combat Feats

  • Untouchable: Parry an enemy attack. Press the parry button just before a zombie connects.

  • Can I Borrow This?: Throw a weapon dropped by an enemy. Grab a dropped item and press the prompt to chuck it back.

  • Chop Chop: Defeat three zombies with a hatchet finishing attack. Stagger them first.

  • Road Rage: Stop one of Victor's attacks on the highway. Shoot Victor while he aims his RPG during the motorcycle section.

  • Cat Got Your Tongue?: Cut the tongue off a Licker B2 using the hatchet. You must parry the tongue attack perfectly in the ARK facility.

  • Not Today, Buds!: Defeat all the Plant 43 seedlings. Clear out all nine in the underground cave system.

Grace's Combat Feats

  • Fatal Dose: Defeat a zombie using the hemolytic injector. Sneak up and inject them to watch them pop.

  • Bring Out The Big Guns: Stun the Girl with Requiem. Shoot the massive stalker enemy with your revolver.

  • Grace and Goliath: Defeat a Chunk as Grace. Dump ammo into the blob enemy roaming the Care Center.

  • Order Up!: Defeat the chef in the care center. Kill the large enemy blocking the pantry.

  • Deadly Duet: Defeat the two singers. Take down the siren-like zombies on the second floor.

  • Internal Dispute: Make a zombie attack another zombie. Lure two enemies together and throw an empty bottle at one of them.

  • Bang For Your Buck: Defeat at least three enemies with a single Requiem shot. Line them up in a hallway and pull the trigger.

Economy, Upgrades, and Crafting

Managing your gear properly is vital. If your pockets are always empty, consult my Resident Evil Requiem crafting guide to stop wasting supplies.

  • Science: Unlock a crafting recipe using analysis in the Blood Lab.

  • The Power of Blood: Craft an item using the blood collector.

  • Blood! More Blood!: Use 300 microsamples of infected blood.

  • Bloodlust: Collect 5000 microsamples of infected blood. This carries over across playthroughs.

  • Out of Sight, Out of Mind: Store an item in the item box as Grace.

  • The Ol' Fashioned Way: Use an ink ribbon to save at a typewriter.

  • Like Mother, Like Daughter: Unlock a drawer with a lockpick.

  • Retail Therapy: Purchase an item from the supply box as Leon.

  • Tailor Made: Upgrade a weapon.

  • Master Craftsman: Craft every possible item with Leon. There are nine total recipes.

  • Credit Where Credit Is Due: Earn 200,000 credits. This tracks cumulatively across all your saves.

Collectibles and Bonus Menu Grind

Missing a collectible is the fastest way to ruin a 100% run. Keep your eyes open.

Exploration

  • The Hunt Begins: Destroy one Mr. Raccoon memoriam.

  • You Little Rascal!: Destroy every Mr. Raccoon memoriam. There are 25 total scattered across the game.

  • No Safe is Safe: Open every safe in the main story. Grace encounters five of these.

  • Crate Expectations: Open all BSAA containers. Leon finds three of these in East Raccoon City.

  • Case Closed: Read all files in the main story. You need to find all 75 documents.

The Final Purchases

  • Model Mania: View all models. Buy all 44 character models from the Bonus Menu using Challenge Points, then manually view them.

  • Curator: View all concept art. Buy and view all 56 pieces of art from the Bonus Menu.

  • The Final Puzzle: Let the sweet pair hear the voice. This is a secret interaction tied to late-game progression.

  • Requiem: Obtain all Trophies. The PlayStation 5 exclusive platinum trophy that pops once everything else is done.

Do not waste your points on the concept art or models until you have already purchased your infinite ammo weapons. Those cheat items are mandatory for surviving Insanity difficulty. Once you clear out the shop, the platinum is yours.
